JustRite Papercraft Day Five, Samantha Walker Sweet Hearts Clear Stamps

Welcome to our final day, Day FIVE of JustRite Papercraft's November Release!  Today I have a 5 1/2" square card to share!  We are featuring a new Samantha Walker set, Sweet Hearts!

The butterflies are cut using Spellbinders Wonderful Wings Butterfly Dies.  The Want2Scrap Wonderful Wings butterfly gems are adhesive and a snap to apply to the die cut!  I got the sewing machine out and stitched down the centers of the butterflies & hearts! The little white hearts are cut when using the Heart die from JustRite's Coordinating Spellbinders Lace Hearts die set. Seam binding/flower embellishing compliments the paper colors!

Here is the total Samantha Walker's JustRite Sweet Hearts stamp set.  It is a clear stamp set featuring 29 stamps. This set is perfect for Valentine's Day, general friendship creations, anniversary, and wedding cards, oh my yes, the possibilities are endless!

Kaisercraft Bundle of Joy Gift! Stamp Simply Style!

A girly Bundle of Joy card and gift are on the agenda today!  I love to coordinate all those Stamp Simply Ribbon Store ribbons & trims to make one of a kind baby gifts!  I've been working on many of these types of items for my granddaughters too!

Talk about the cutest paper pad!  The designer papers used on my card are found in Kaisercraft's Bundle of Joy 6.5" x 6.5" paper pad.  The tag and scallop border are die cuts from this paper pad too.  When I used Kaisercraft's HERE, I shared the following info!  It's definitely worth sharing again. 

• Bundle of Joy paper pad contains twenty-four single-sided 6-1/2 x 6-1/2 inch designer papers (two each of twelve designs)
• Eight 6-1/2 x 6-1/2 inch spot varnish papers (two each of four designs)
• Four 6-1/2 x 6-1/2 inch foil papers (two each of two designs)
• Four 6-1/2 x 6-1/2 inch die-cut pages

The three stamped sentiments are found in Samantha Walkers JustRite Set, For All You Do Vintage Labels Three. VersaFine Black ink was used for the sentiment stamping and Memento Angel Pink for the decorative stamp.

Here is the sweet little gift I put together!  A simple headband and little white socks embellished with The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store ribbons and trim and look how cute!  All the ribbon flowers and trim were hand sewn.  You could easily use a machine, but I so enjoy hand stitching!  All the ribbons are listed below in the supply list.

Using Clear Boxes to gift creations is one of my favorites ways for presentation of the goods!  It allows all the goodness to be seen!  (Sorry about the hazy glare of the box) I cut a page from the designer paper pad to line the box bottom and another die cut tag from one of the die cut pages works perfectly. I will have a couple more cards using this Bundle of Joy paper coming in a few weeks!

Good Tuesday Morning to you!  Today JustRite is featuring an ornament stamp set and I have a simple ornament card for you! This Heritage Christmas round ornament could easily be removed form the card and used as a package tie on, or place on the Christmas tree!

Look at this ornament goodness!  This scrumptious clear set includes three various shapes of ornaments with a total of 18 stamps in the set.  Heritage Christmas Ornaments is designed by Amy Tedder!

Here is the new Spellbinders Heirloom Ornaments coordinating die set!  Sigh, it doesn't get much better than this!  I paper pieced the decorative scroll on the large round ornament.I stamped the ornament three times and layers my pieces to create the ornament you see!  The green Merry Christmas sentiment area is shaded using a dauber and Old Paper Tim Holtz ink.  A bit of machine stitching, faux canvas ribbon bow, and paper cord hanger embellish and complete the card!

Circle of Love Birthday Wishes!

Happy Friday!  How was your week?  Welcome to Day 7 of JustRite's CHA Reveal! Today I have a square card for you using JustRite's new Circle of Love Vintage Labels Three set.  I knew I wanted to color the flower image, so I stamped that first with Memento Tuxedo Black and proceeded to color with my Copic Markers.  I chose to "fussy cut" the colored image with my craft knife.

Circle of Love is a JustRite Cling set featuring 11 stamps. Next up was stamping the decorative frame twice with Memento Angel pink ink.  I cut them with JustRite Spellbinders Custom coordinating Vintage Labels Three Dies.  The sentiment was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and hand trimmed to fit design.  I even used some sewing machine stitching on this creation!  After building the layers, I added seam binding bows, a burlap string bow, and some Kaisercraft adhesive rhinestones from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!

It's about all recycling & Christmas Stockings, Stamp Simply Style!

Happy Friday to you!  I hope you have had a great week!  I've been thinking Christmas!  How about you?  Actually, ever since I saved cardboard Christmas stocking inserts last year, I have been thinking specifically about how I was going to use them this Christmas!  Sigh, I know they say it's a sickness, but I disagree!  I prefer to call it frugal, fun, and well, maybe, just maybe a tiny bit creative!

These are what I'm talking about! How could I throw these away?  They take up little room, great weight as far as cardboard inserts go, and such a great size!  And that would be approximately 14 1/2" long and 7" wide at the top.  I think if there would have been only one or two, they would've been thrown into the garbage file.  But, I purchased nine stockings!  So, it just was not right to throw any of these away!

The first step was to decide which one of these gorgeous Girl Land Papers were going to become stocking fronts. Once decided, I traced around the insert and cut two out. Next step was to machine stitch the front and back together.  Then onto embellishing! The Webster's Pages Girl Land Kit is fabulous, you can create beautiful cards, scrapbook pages and other paper craft projects, like recycled stocking inserts! It includes the finest heavy weight paper and quality embellishments. Here are some details:

• 12 12x12 Double-sided Papers
• 1 12x12 Die cut Paper Sheet
• 1 Storyteller Alpha Sticker Sheet (I used these on this pencil tree HERE)
• 2 6" Bling Strips
• 2 12" Bloomer Trims (The kit purple bloomers are what I used on one of the stockings)

For this particular stocking, the pink bloomers come from Webster's Pages Trim Pack. (next picture)  For the top of this stocking I chose to stamp on one of the stockings using SU Craft Ink with the JustRite Background Stamp, Embroidered.  I distressed the edges with my MM paper distress tool. There was enough stamped left to punch circles out and place those onto the circle patterns of the paper!  Do you see them now?  I stamped my sentiments with VersaFine Black ink onto scraps of the Girl Land papers.  These papers are two sided designed so you have lots of options here! Sentiments are found in Justrite's Large Fancy Holiday Set.  I cut the sentiments out using my Spellbinders A2 Fancy Weave Die!(also used one of these dies on a Halloween Treat tag, HERE) 

Pictured is the Girl Land Trim Card that I used for the pink bloomers.  The trims match and coordinate all the Girl Land papers!  The loop for each stocking was made with 1/8" Velvet Ribbon.  And the loopy ribbons on each stocking are all created with assorted Seam Binding. What did we ever do without Seam Binding?  Loops of Seam Binding are tied with Silver Metallic String before being glued to stocking front. 

Melissa Frances two layer silk ribbon ruffles is what is used on each stocking too, applying it with ScorTape. The bloomers are attached with ScorTape as well.  This embellishment is pure fabulous!  All other embellishments are adhered with Aleene's Tacky Glue.

I love how these turned out, I will use them to gift light weight items, most likely gift cards, candy, desk supplies, those type of things!  If anything, I would hang these as home decor!  But they are not for me, as I give almost everything I create away!  And I love doing that! Ric Rac Rose Packaging!

Remember these Ric Rac Rose Hairclips from yesterday?  Today, I have them packaged, ready for gift giving!  Before we get to that, I wanted to say, I hope you are having a Terrific Tuesday! Every Tuesday my husband and I go to our church and volunteer at our after school program. We open the doors, help with homework, play games, listen, and serve all a hot meal!  Knowing these kids are safe, warm, and fed each Tuesday makes it terrific indeed! 

Packaged Ric Rac Rose Hairclips

Lets get to the packages!  Glassine bags, wrapped with ribbon and embellished with a chipboard lettered heart!  I covered each letter with Lost & Found Blush Paper from My Minds Eye.  The initials of the first letters of the honey pie's names who will get these roses! Designer paper, adhesive pearls, all ribbon, and string are found at The Stamp Simply Store!

SU Slot Punch

I attached each hair clip to a Spellbinders Labels Eighteen Die cut piece of white card stock.  I slightly pinched the middle of die cut and used my SU slot punch as shown to create an opening to slide the metal hair clip into.

Backside view of the hair clip attached to die cut.  The die cut easily slides into glassine bag.  I folded top over, used the SU slot punch again to create a hole for the ribbon to life through!

Ric Rac Rose Hair Clips!

RIC RAC ROSE Supplies

Here is what I started with!  Ric Rac and Suede Leaves from The Stamp Simply RIBBON Store along with a metal hair clip, needle & thread, and Aleene's Tacky glue.  I first saw this idea over on Pinterest! I followed the blog instructions HERE, and was pleased with the result for my first try.

I feel my roses turned out just as shown in the instruction blog I referred to above.  I added the suede leaves by gluing them to the metal clip before gluing on the rose itself!  These roses took much less time than I anticipated!  I certainly will be making more of these in different colors.

Two clips, one for each granddaughter!  I will be gifting these clips along with onsies that I'm embellishing with ric rac hearts for Valentine's Day!  Such fun I am having! When they are complete I will share!

Framing with Embellishments!

This is an IKEA frame I picked up this past summer. I love the durability and photos are inserted from the top into the frame. So it's easy in and easy out to change up pictures! Love the clear inserts that come with the frame which creates a floating looking photo! Adhesive Velcro dots are attached to the frame and on to backside of each embellishment making changing a snap.

Every frame needs seasonal embellishments, right? The first photo sports a Spellbinders Blossom Three Flower die cut of fleece. I cut two and used embroidery floss to stitch around the edges! The pumpkin is created using Spellbinders Mega Oval dies with shaded edges to add dimension! The greenery is a Spellbinders Foliage die and the pumpkin stem is cut from Spellbinders Labels Four die. The wreath is cut with Spellbinders Scallop Circles and the berries are negative pieces from a Spellbinders Eyelet Square die cut. Mini gems and silver string finish the embellishment perfectly!

This was such an easy gift project! You can make as many embellies as your heart desires! I made eight embellishments for this project and will be back to show you the rest! The little one is our precious granddaughter! Her Momma will be gifted this frame creation for Christmas! I have a feeling she will be placing this on her desk! Enjoy your Friday!

It's a VELVET Stamp Simply Ribbon Inspiration Saturday!

Today we are all about velvet ribbons! I've a darling Halloween card with 3/8" black velvet ribbon (found HERE) embellishing my stamped image. It is simply looped three times and tied with Halloween twine (found HERE)!

Here is a better look at the velvet ribbon embellishment. I added an adhesive pearl atop the twine as well.

A peek of the card inside. This cards sports designer paper Mischievous, from My Minds Eye (found HERE)! This is my first time using papers from My Minds Eye and I love the quality. The 6x6 paper pad contains 24 sheets, all are double sided! The cute moon on the card from paper comes printed that way!

My image is from JustRite's Happy Trick or Treat Set (found HERE). It is copic colored and cut using Spellbinders Label Ten Dies (found HERE). The sentiments, card inside and out are found in JustRite's Halloween Mini Sentiments Set (found HERE). There you have it! Grandma's Doilies, JustRite Style!

Here we are on day three of JustRite's October Release! I chose to get out the embroidery needle and thread for this card! I stamped the image onto a scrap of white linen with Memento London Fog Grey ink. I trimmed the image and taped it to my white die cut. I LOVE this so much my plan is to embroider all of the images and place them in a mat and frame for a wall decor art piece!

And here is the entire JustRite Grandma's Doilies Set! It is divine! These images pair wonderfully with the new JustRite Lace borders set!

Here is a close up to give a you a better look at the detail! I added a simple sentiment from JustRite's Happy Everything Mini Tag Set. The tag set is now a staple on my desk, I reach for it often!

QR (Quick Response Code) codes are popping up everywhere & you may have wondered what they were. QR codes are pixelated squares that you can scan with a smart phone app. Scanning the QR code with your phone will bring you directly to a website or landing page. Look for JustRite QR Codes on JR packaging and in JustRites Catalog! It will link a stamp set to JustRite's Design Gallery for that set. Now you can scan the code with your phone to see what your favorite designers have created with a set before you purchase the set in your favorite store. You can use your smart phone to access the design gallery for your stamp set from your craft room when you are ready to use your set or from our mini fliers or catalogs or when you are sitting in a car waiting to pick up your child from a sporting event! Stamp Simply Ribbon Inspiration- LACE

I'm convinced the weeks fly by faster & faster as time marches on! Another week has flown by and here we are with another Stamp Simply Ribbon Inspiration Saturday! This week we are featuring LACE!

There are lots of pictures today showing you a Graphic45 Staples, their envelope six pocket kraft album that I covered with Graphic45 Once Upon a Springtime papers! I added the year 2012 because this is a Gratitude Album for 2012 that will be gifted to my daughter! There are six envelopes, each envelope contains two index cards with corresponding months and days to write at least one thing every day of the year that she is grateful for! The 8x8 Once Upon a Springtime paper pad is on sale! This is a peek at the album back. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that 1/4" ringlet trim for edging! Inside the front top flap shows the adhesive Velcro dot and the ringlet trim again. The bow embellishment on the front flap features 7/8" white crochet lace for the bow with a suede leaf and chenille dot ribbon pressed onto a trimmed down Cosmo Cricket Gluber! This pocket flap is edged with 3/4" lace with pearl center. There is a suede leaf to the right side of the crochet lace flower. The 1 1/2 " pink lace is folded in half and hand sewn to gather center thus creating the round blossom. More of the 3/4" lace with pearl center trimming the flap and making the bow located in the lower right hand corner of this envie page.

More 7/8" crochet lace with 1/8" velvet ribbon inserted down the ribbon center. I had just a tiny piece of the crochet lace left so I created an embellishment by sewing the edge and gathering!

This lace comes to us off a Webster's Pages Ribbon Trim Card! The small blossom is created using 5/8" sheer loop trim!

And the final page uses one of my all time favorites, 1/4" ringlet trim! I created a flower by sticking it around in a circular fashion onto a Cosmo Cricket gluber! I LOVE it! It's so easy to get caught up in the day to day living this life that we forget to pause and Be Grateful! I think this little gratitude album will help to remember just that! A favorite saying of mine that reflects along the same line of thought- What if we woke up today with only the things we thanked God for yesterday?
