JustRite Papercraft Frog & Water Lily Clear Stamp Set, JustRite Papercraft Filigree Leaves Background Stamp

Welcome to DAY Seven and the final day of JustRite Papercraft's September Release! I have a special birthday greeting to share today!  The moment I saw Amy Tedder's set, Frog & Water Lily, I knew I would be creating for our grandson!  Let's get started!
What little boy would not love to open a boxed greeting to find a frog & dragon fly?  Copic colored images are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  All Copic colors are listed below.

Here is the Frog & Water Lily Clear Stamp Set, showing all the 10 clear images and sentiments!  Another great set designed by Amy Tedder!  After the images were stamped and colored I fussy cut them out!  I love fussy cutting!

After heat embossing the box top and bottom, I used a sponge dauber to apply color, rubbing the colors at random.  The heat embossed design resists the ink leaving the color on the rest of the card stock.
Here is Becca Feeken's new background stamp Filigree Leaves Background Cling Stamp!  I stamped and heat embossed it twice, once for the box top and once for box bottom! Here is a break down of how I created this super easy box.

  • Trim stamped box top panel to 4 1/2" x 5 3/4" and box bottom to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
  • Scor in from all edges at 1 1/8"
  • Cut out corner flaps completely for box bottom
  • Cut in on the scor lines in the corners of box top, fold and secure with Scor Tape
  • Attach stamped images with foam squares to the box bottom only, slightly bending up remaining image to fit the box and allowing them to move
  • Cut 2 small slits on box top to allow the threading of cording to be placed through and tied on top
  • Attach box top embellishments

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Be sure to check out the wonderful creations the following JustRite Papercraft Designers have for you!  Enjoy!

It's JustRite's August Release Day Three! Blue Skies Ahead!

Welcome to Day Three of Justrite's August Release!  Today we are featuring Becca Feeken's Amazing Paper Grace dies and stamps and I have a card to share!  A note regarding the umbrella handle.  The lower curved end is a die cut from Spellbinders Nested Tea Cups which I just realized is discontinued.  However, any set of a flower or leaf curl would work well.  I added a strip of white card stock to match the width of die cut to extend up and under the umbrella.  The seam binding bow hides the connection!

Looking for a Sign is a clear set featuring seventeen stamps.  I chose the Blue Skies sentiment along with the one decorative stamp for my tag embellishment.  All ink shading is accomplished using sponge daubers.

I used the smaller Filigree corner die for my creation.  With the white card stock, I embossed the design, and also cut it using the designer red/white paper.  Other dies and items used are listed below in supply list. I hope your skies are blue today where you are! I will be back tomorrow with some Christmas goodness!  See you then!

August JustRite Release Begins Today!

Welcome to Day ONE of JustRite's August Release!  There is so much goodness to share for this release!  The designers have been busy and I know you are going to be wowed when you see what they have been creating!  Let's get started!

I created a square card for Day One utilizing the size of the square die as my guide! The simple Christmas sentiment is found in JustRite's Christmas Labels Twenty, stamped with Adirondack Currant ink and cut using an oldie SU Punch! The Silver Leaves are trimmed down before being pinched & glued at one end. I then glued the pinched ends in a circle to create a wreath and included the tiny green leaves in the round!

Silver paper is cut using the spectacular dies found in Lacey Tiers Dies.  They are just exquisite, no? I used the two largest dies from this set with silver paper from Michaels. Be sure to visit the following JustRite Designer's BLOGS for inspiration galore!  Click on their  individual names to take you to each respective blog. Enjoy!  Stop back tomorrow for Day Two!

So Blessed....

Welcome to JustRite's final day of their May Release!  Today we are featuring two Becca Feeken Stamp Sets, Filigree Journal Covers & Mix and Match Sentiments.  With Mother's Day in a couple days, I thought I would create a card for my daughter!  My card is cut using Spellbinders Decorative Labels One, with other card elements cut from Spellbinders Classic Squares, Nested Lacey Pennants and Stars Five.

Mix and Match sentiments is just that!  28 clear stamps that can mixed to say what you want!  I used three of the stamps on my card to convey my sentiment, So Blessed to be Your Mother. They are stamped using VersaFine Smokey Gray Ink.  A Want2Scrap pearl square is used to embellish the die cut and small star. Want2Scrap Teardrop white pearls also embellish the small star too.  The bow is made with darling 1/4" white dot ribbon from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

We hope you've enjoyed JustRite's May Release Sets!  The inspiration has been awesome and below are today's talented participating designers!  Click on designer's names to be taken to each respective blog. Enjoy!

After stamping the rose image, I applied my good ole' reliable chalks! I then trimmed them out and added a silk ribbon bow and pearl before attaching to the ornament.

Here is a pic of both of them!  The ribbon, adhesive pearls, leaf trim, and foam dimensionals are found at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!

LOVE the intricate design with these December Kit dies.  They are wonderful to work with!  There you have it!  A simple, yet lovely ornament for today!  I pray you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Take good care!

Bless Your Heart! It's Amazing Paper Grace reveal time with JustRite Designers!

Hello Tuesday!  JustRite Designers are revealing their latest creations using Becca Feeken's December's KIT!  I created these table style favors.  They will each hold candy and serve as a Thank You favor placed at each table setting!  I've been playing around with this purple and grey color duo as these are the colors our youngest daughter has chosen for her upcoming wedding! More on that later!

The Filigree Bracket Label Dies Set is amazing!  Like in amazing Paper Grace!  This Spellbinders set features three dies!  Wait till you see what Becca and the rest of the JustRite Designers have created using these!  Can I just say WONDERFUL!

OK, let me walk you through how I made today's creation!  I cut my Recollections purple paper with the largest die, then scored twice creating a base for the favor.  The mid point (point) of the die cut is placed at 3/8" on each side of the point and scored. This creates a perfect base for a piece of candy!

Here is the stamp set in its entirety.  Becca's December KIT info can been seen HERE.  All the links on how to purchase the kit and all Becca's creations using the December are found HERE as well.

I stamped the two rose images with VersaMark watermark ink.  You can see in the photo I used scrap paper to prevent any stamping other than where I wanted it to be.

This shows the glue placement of the smaller die cut before adhering it to the inside of the favor die cut. I did not want the small filigree die cut to be completely glued.  In the next pic I will share why! The metallic string embellished straight pearl head pins function is to hold the favor closed. They are found HERE.  They are nice, long and so pretty!

I glued another small filigree to the outside of the favor front, placing it above the edge to allow the straight pin to pass through and catch the inner filigree.  This simple concept holds the favor closed!  Easy to remove, and no need for any other type of fastener. Simple, but makes a design statement!
And here is a single favor view!  Tomorrow I will be back with a couple ornaments using Becca's Amazing Paper Grace December Kit!  See you then!

A New Day

A New Day with Amazing Paper Grace.  Becca Feeken has done it again, and JustRite Designers are showcasing her new November Kit today and tomorrow!

When I first received Becca's new dies and stamp set, I played with the JustRite Custom corner dies.  I wish I could say this tree was a thought out plan upon seeing the dies, but I cannot lie!  After cutting a few smaller corner filigree pieces, I stacked each upon one another to put aside as I checked out the stamp set, and YES!  I saw a tree.  A simple card, and a really happy accident.  The bottom two tree layers are two die cuts glued together with most of the underlying cut away! All paper is from Kasiercraft Twig & Berry paper pad found at The Stamp Simply Store. If you have not use Kaisercraft designer papers, check this out!  Their paper pads include punch out pages, flocked pages, some with foil look features!  And it all coordinates! See the tree trunk?  It really is one of the punch outs, an arrow, we are talking easy today!

I used the amazing sets above for my card.  A New Day stamp set is a JustRite Clear set featuring 27 stamps.  I stamped my sentiment with VersFine Black Onyx and the decorative stamp used Memento Rhubarb Stalk. For all the kit info, click HERE.

The card inside is using the same Kaisercraft Designer paper pad.  The stamped sentiment tag was already in tag form, I just punched it off the paper pad page!  A few words about the tree topper, it is created using the smallest die from Spellbinders Exquisite Circles and JustRite Custom Spellbinders Nested Medallion Dies.

Becca creates amazing projects and you will get paper, embellishments along with the dies & stamps to create the above projects in November's Kit!  So pretty!

Untie the Ribbons...

Good Morning!  I am writing these posts early because I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of our third granddaughter!  Grandma will be with her two older siblings and I want to make sure I get my blog work done!  So, without further ado, Welcome to JustRite's Day Two of Becca Feeken's October Stamp/Die Kit Reveal.  Are you lovin' all the ideas the design team is sharing? (I am!)

If you guessed something heart shaped from yesterday's clue, then you got it right!  I found this darling heart shaped grapevine wreath that has been embellished with a few sprigs of greenery and moss at Michaels.  It's a fairly current purchase, so hoping if you want one, it will be at your Mikes!

A close up at the tag and spools.  I wrapped the 1/8" ribbon around each spool and secured with score tape.  The bows atop the spools are secured with Aleene's Tacky Glue.  The spools are also attached to the wreath with Aleene's Tacky Glue as well.

The "Untie the Ribbons" sentiment is just one of the 21 JustRite Clear Stamps in Becca's It's Sew Vintage Set!  Wonderful sentiments along with Becca's signature vintage designs makes for one terrific stamp set!

I cut my sentiment with the spool die from the above JustRite Custom Spellbinders Dies, Vintage Frame Label & Spool Topper set.  I kept the die on my card stock to add the lavender ink onto the stamped portion of the tag.  It left the edge a nice crisp white that I then edged with distress ink.

There is more goodness to see!  Click onto the talented JustRite designer's names and it will take you to their respective blogs!  Enjoy!
