It's Gingerbread Time! Merry Christmas Everyone! Stamp Simply Style!

Greetings!  Welcome to my The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store Wednesday post!  I've expanded on the foam gingerbread idea!  I posted this little guy HERE.  So, of course I had to make a gingerbread girl, using the same designer paper and punch outs from Kaisercrafts Gingerbread paper pad.  I created a dress and apron for this gingerbread girl.

How about a decorative gingerbread man with a punch out tag that a name could be written on and then placed on that persons wrapped package? The poinsettia is cut using Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia dies with the edges shaded using Tea Dye Tim Holtz Distress ink. I love the use of the white ZIG paint pen here, not for a smile but for faux stitching!  

Lets practice lacing and tying bows! The bow ribbon is thread through the punched holes and tied into a knot , so they will not come out easily.  The paper cording is knotted so that when lacing begins, it cannot be pulled through!   

I wanted you to see a close up of the threading end of the lacing paper string!  I wrapped it with scotch tape and cut it at an angle.  Obviously this activity is for an older child that can handle lacing and learning to tie.

Merry Christmas Everyone! Says this darling Gingerbread Man!

If you are looking for darling, easy, and all around fun, this guy fits the bill!  Sharon has these 7" x 5.5" foam gingerbread men now stocked in her store, HERE!  HERE are two samplers Sharon has put together especially for this Gingerbread paper pad!

Kaisercraft's Gingerbread paper pad is the perfect companion to use for embellishing!  You can see I cut out a vest, added pockets, button line, and a bow tie using the paper! The lollipop is used with punch outs included in the paper pad!  

A reminder about Kaisercraft paper pads: 

• Gingerbread paper pad contains twenty-four single-sided 6-1/2 x 6-1/2 inch designer papers (two each of twelve designs)
• Eight 6-1/2 x 6-1/2 inch spot varnish papers (two each of four designs)
• Four 6-1/2 x 6-1/2 inch foil papers (two each of two designs)
• Four 6-1/2 x 6-1/2 inch die-cut pages

I used ScorTape to adhere the RicRac trim to the foam.  I also utilized ScorTape to attach the paper vest which worked perfectly!  Those awesome sugar dots stickers say put too on the foam!  They are perfect, no? A quick note about the smile on this creation, I used a Zig white paint pen!  Again, can I say perfect?  

I have so many ideas using these gingerbread men!  How about an ornament? A gift bag tie on? Monogrammed? Joining the hands to create a banner?  Children would have a wonderful time creating using these foam gingerbread cuties too! Ho, Ho, Ho! Santa Card! Stamp Simply Style!

Welcome! We are on Day 11 of Sharon's 12 days of CAS Christmas! So how about an ornament shaped card today? The base is cut using Spellbinders Heirloom 2011 dies as is the water colored paper.  Kaisercraft Gingerbread Paper is perfect for this jolly Santa image! All the dots add a festive touch, no? Have you used those new SugarDot stickers from Prima?  Oh my, I just may be adding another item to my fav list! These dots come four colors per card, all being various sizes!

Just LOOK at all the holiday goodness in Kaisecraft's Gingerbread Stamp Set!  I have to say, the package and banner images could be used all year long!  I stamped my images onto watercolor paper using StazOn Black, as I knew I wanted to watercolor using Ranger Distress Markers.

I watercolored the images with a water brush and distress markers.  I applied my marker color onto clear acetate, picked up small amounts of color with the water brush, then applied to stamped images.  Adding more water helped wash out & lighten color and adding more color created the shading I was trying to achieve.  After applying a small amount of tacky glue onto Santa's fur and facial hair, I sprinkled clear rock candy distress glitter.  It's so fine, in the sense of texture of glitter!  LOVE!  Die cutting, adding ribbon & embellishments, trimming out sentiment letters, and voila! Card is complete!

Believe! Watercolor Card with The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!

Welcome to my Wednesday post for The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!  It is Day Four on The Stamp Simply Ribbon Stores 12 Days of Christmas creations!  It started Sunday with Sharon kicking it off with a wonderful trio of cards HERE.

I recently ordered "new to me" goodies from The Stamp Simply Store and I used several on this card!  It is a standard A2 size card, pretty simple and easy, so let's get started!

• Stamp tree and branch image onto water color paper.  
• Lightly and evenly mist paper with mini mister.  
• With water brush, lightly touch brush tip on burlap and jeans ink & spread color onto wet watercolor paper, let dry.  If you want you can use your heat emboss gun to speed drying.
• Stamp deer image.
• Stamp sentiment image multiple times, color in Believe.  Cut to card size and place on designer paper before adhering to water colored panel.
• Die cut watercolor panel, and designer papers.  Adhere to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base. 
• Add burlap cord, glue snowflake onto the cord top.
• Add adhesive Sugardots where desired.  

If you ever wanted to achieve watercolor effect in your paper crafting, using this watercolor paper and inks are what you need! Whether you lightly mist your paper and spread ink around or mist your already stamped images, the result is wonderful!  Add your embellishments and voila' you have a perfect creation!  Thanks so much for stopping by today! Baby boy Footprints, Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!

Look at that cute footprint tag!  Well, did you know Kaisercraft Bundle of Joy 6 1/2" x 6 1/2" paper pad has punch out pages included in their paper pads?  That's where the sweet footprint tag is from!  The butterfly and sentiment are cutout shapes from Kaisercraft's Bundle of Joy, Boy coordinating cutout shapes set.  There are tons of cutouts in the package!  I cut my card base with a Spellbinders Labels Eight die, as I did with the pieced together designer paper card top.  One more baby card to cross off my list!  Hope you are enjoying the day!

JustRite Bundle of Joy Clear Stamp Set October Release Day Six

Welcome to Day Six of JustRite Papercraft's October Release!  This is our final day and we are featuring a second baby set, Bundle of Joy Vintage Labels Five. I chose to make a baby bib card!  Let's get started!

The card base is cut from a Spellbinders Grand Circle die.  The neckline is cut using a Standard Large Circle Die, and again with a Lacey Circle die for the neckline trim. JustRite Papercraft Special Delivery Clear Stamp Set

We have a birthday girl this week and she just turned ONE!  Cannot believe it!  Today is DAY FIVE of JustRite Papercraft's October Release!  It's a special birthday and a special set, Special Delivery!  Let's get started!

As you can see, Special Delivery is not only for the birth of a special one, but it includes a baptism, adoption, and general love sentiments too! While I will be using this set for new baby creations, I chose to go the baby birthday route today!  Special Delivery features 24 clear stamps and is designed by Amy Tedder!

I made a gift card to accompany the little hat utilizing JustRite custom Spellbinder Vintage Labels Five Dies.  The dies are a new set this week too!

I added a special stamped tag to the hat bloom embellishment!  This little one is definitely wrapped in LOVE!  I used a good ole' needle and thread to gather the base sequin trim and the yellow lace trim!  Pretty easy and they're attached to the cone using Aleene's Tacky Glue!

I love this Girl Land kit and it has provided supplies for many, many creations!  LOVE the paper design!  Mine is from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!  Webster's Pages paper quality is super and perfect for a party hat! They are two sided, so you get designs on both sides!  

ALL the trims are found right on this embellishment card that coordinates with Girl Land product!  It is found HERE. So fun to have all the necessary coordinated goods to create with!

JustRite Papercraft Rose Garden Background Cling Stamp

Hello Thursday!  How are you today?  We are on Day four of the JustRite Papercraft October Release and I have a card full of color for you! After stamping the wonderful new background stamp, Rose Garden, I had a little fun with Copic Markers!     

This beauty measures 4 1/2" x 5 3/4" and is made of deeply etched red rubber.  It is mounted on static cling foam and clings to any acrylic block.  I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink with Rose Garden and trimmed it to its stamped size. The largest die in the A2 Matting Basics B measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" so I used it to cut a frame out of a 4 1/2" x 5 3/4" frame.  

The sentiment on today's card is found in this new set, Black Eyed Susan Vintage Labels Five that was released on Day 2 of the JustRite Papercraft October Release. I used a classic circle die from Spellbinders to cut it, leaving the die on while placing a bit of color to jazz it up a bit!  A couple of tiny twinkles and bow completes the card!

The stamped frame is adhered to card using foam dimensionals. Simple stamping, die cutting and super embellishments equal a fabulous card, no?
