Welcome!  Today is The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store Wednesday's post and I created a 4 1/4" square Christmas card!  I used a "new to me" item on today's card, Spellbinders Precious Metals Foil Paper!  I die cut the silver color with the two smallest dies from Spellbinders Lacey Pennants Die Set to create a collage of trees!  I think they look like cookie sheets!  Loved how easy this was to do!  I then embellished them with sequins using TomBow Mono Adhesive! Have you tired this adhesive?  It has a fine point that allows a tiny drop of glue (perfect for sequins), with the opposite end having a glue dispensing type glider!  LOVE it!  I didn't stop tree embellishing there, I added a tiny Kaisercraft adhesive pearls!

The stamped sentiment is found in JustRite's Large Fancy Holiday Sentiments Set.  I then die cut it using a banner die included in the Spellbinders Lacey Pennants Set.  I love the ribbon colors and that Prima Pink flower is the perfect touch for the ribbon embellishment!  Voila', Let it Snow!

Merry Christmas Everyone! Says this darling Gingerbread Man!

If you are looking for darling, easy, and all around fun, this guy fits the bill!  Sharon has these 7" x 5.5" foam gingerbread men now stocked in her store, HERE!  HERE are two samplers Sharon has put together especially for this Gingerbread paper pad!

Kaisercraft's Gingerbread paper pad is the perfect companion to use for embellishing!  You can see I cut out a vest, added pockets, button line, and a bow tie using the paper! The lollipop is used with punch outs included in the paper pad!  

A reminder about Kaisercraft paper pads: 

• Gingerbread paper pad contains twenty-four single-sided 6-1/2 x 6-1/2 inch designer papers (two each of twelve designs)

I used ScorTape to adhere the RicRac trim to the foam.  I also utilized ScorTape to attach the paper vest which worked perfectly!  Those awesome sugar dots stickers say put too on the foam!  They are perfect, no? A quick note about the smile on this creation, I used a Zig white paint pen!  Again, can I say perfect?  

I have so many ideas using these gingerbread men!  How about an ornament? A gift bag tie on? Monogrammed? Joining the hands to create a banner?  Children would have a wonderful time creating using these foam gingerbread cuties too! Ho, Ho, Ho! Santa Card! Stamp Simply Style!

Welcome! We are on Day 11 of Sharon's 12 days of CAS Christmas! So how about an ornament shaped card today? The base is cut using Spellbinders Heirloom 2011 dies as is the water colored paper.  Kaisercraft Gingerbread Paper is perfect for this jolly Santa image! All the dots add a festive touch, no? Have you used those new SugarDot stickers from Prima?  Oh my, I just may be adding another item to my fav list! These dots come four colors per card, all being various sizes!

Just LOOK at all the holiday goodness in Kaisecraft's Gingerbread Stamp Set!  I have to say, the package and banner images could be used all year long!  I stamped my images onto watercolor paper using StazOn Black, as I knew I wanted to watercolor using Ranger Distress Markers.

I watercolored the images with a water brush and distress markers.  I applied my marker color onto clear acetate, picked up small amounts of color with the water brush, then applied to stamped images.  Adding more water helped wash out & lighten color and adding more color created the shading I was trying to achieve.  After applying a small amount of tacky glue onto Santa's fur and facial hair, I sprinkled clear rock candy distress glitter.  It's so fine, in the sense of texture of glitter!  LOVE!  Die cutting, adding ribbon & embellishments, trimming out sentiment letters, and voila! Card is complete!

JustRite Bundle of Joy Clear Stamp Set October Release Day Six

Welcome to Day Six of JustRite Papercraft's October Release!  This is our final day and we are featuring a second baby set, Bundle of Joy Vintage Labels Five. I chose to make a baby bib card!  Let's get started!

The card base is cut from a Spellbinders Grand Circle die.  The neckline is cut using a Standard Large Circle Die, and again with a Lacey Circle die for the neckline trim. Let Your Soul Sing!

Welcome to Day One of JustRite's June Release!  We're starting a couple days early this month!  Today I have a trio of cards using our first set, Let Your Soul Sing, designed by Amy Tedder of Amy Tedder Designs. I began by stamping my branch image with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.  Each top stamped panel was then cut using a Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight Die.

Next up was stamping the birds, flowers & butterfly images onto colored cardstock with VersaMark Watermark Ink. All stamped embellishment images were then scissor trimmed before being adhered to cards using Aleene's Tacky glue. Die cut card panels along with each stamped sentiment are attached to card base using Therm O Web foam dimensionals. 

Let Your Soul Sing is a JustRite clear set featuring 23 stamps.  There is tons of versatility with this set and I cannot wait for you to see all the designers creations today! Fabulous does not even begin to describe!  

And here is a look at the final card!  The sentiments are found in JustRite's Clear Set, Grand Sentiments.  Cardstock cutouts are embellished with Kaisercratft Adhesive pearls from The Stamp Simply Store.  The gorgeous ribbon is faux Canvas also from The Stamp Simply Store HERE.  And the variety of Prima flowers are found HERE.

It's Monogram Week At The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!

Greetings!  This week The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store is featuring all things MONOGRAMMED!  JustRite has created two new monogram stamp sets and this week SSRS designers are creating with monogramming in mind, and I could not be more thrilled!  Before I get to my monogram creation, here is a bit of catch up info!  Last year, in many ways, turned into 52 very long weeks.  As I begin to post more, I will be sharing bits & pieces to bring you up to date and share photos!  To begin, I would like to share with you that our youngest daughter got married last weekend!  Of course, this Momma got to add a few paper crafting items to the mix!  Let's get started!!!

Precious as it gets!  Two of our granddaughters and two of the grooms nieces were flower girls in the wedding!  Our daughter decided she did not want the traditional basket for flower petals, so we embellished little buckets!  They worked perfectly! They were purchased at Oriental Trading's online store.

With four flower girls with identical flower petal buckets, it was a must to give each their own personalization!  Not only did this help throughout the day, it made each of them to feel special to see their very own name initial. Allow me to introduce Graceful Monogram HERE. I replaced the white ribbon handle with beautiful satin ribbon that matched the wedding colors!  I added a die cut element to the bucket base using Spellbinders A2 Bracket Borders that was attached with 1/8" Scor Tape.  Therm O Web Dimensionals were used to secure the large purple bloom. The blooms were purchased at Michaels!

The decorative circle border is stamped with Versafine Smokey Gray Ink and scissor trimmed.  It is adhered atop a Spellbinders D Lites Medallion Two die cut and placed upon purple cardstock allowing it to peek through!  I also placed Kaisercraft adhesive pearls on the border. HERE is the entire JustRite Graceful Monogram Set.

Here is a picture featuring two of the Flower Girl Hair Clips!  I used a bit of purple tulle behind a white sheer tinsel edged ribbon bow, a little piece of satin ribbon along with a Prima Serenade Purple Flower!  A little feather with gems for a bit of flair! 

And last but not least the reception table favors!  This is what 144 mini champagne splits  with straws look like complete with a JR stamped tag, silk ribbon bow and a Prima Serenade Purple flower!  I LOVE how these turned out!

A closer look at the tag!  Using the sentiment stamp from JustRite's Live, Laugh, Love, Vintage Labels Two Set, I stamped it with VersaFine Black Onyx Ink.  Both the stamped tag base and sentiment tag top were cut using Custom JustRite Spellbinders Vintage Labels Two Die Set. Tag top is attached using Therm O Web Dimensionals to raise it from tag base.  The tag is tied onto bottle neck using gorgeous 1.25" purple Silk Ribbon! Finishing touches, a Prima Serenade Purple Bloom glued onto bow center and Kaisercraft adhesive pearl!

A gift to wrap? What to do? Embellish, Stamp Simply Style!

Happy Friday morning!  Last week my daughter asked if I had a wedding shower card and could I wrap a gift for a coworker who is getting married.  Why sure, I'm sure we can find a card and I certainly can wrap a gift!  

When she brought the bag of goods into the studio, I knew I was in trouble!  A waste basket, a shower curtain, soap dispenser and a shower caddy, etc. I did not have a box or gift bag that would accommodate these items! We placed all the items inside the wastebasket, but obviously the shower caddy was not going to fit.  So, I tied them together using 1.5" Silky Crushed Gold Ribbon! 

The three large flowers are Prima Classic Roses.  They each come on a wire stem!  Bonus!  They easily and instantly created a bouquet effect and a base to build the entire embellishment!  After twisting the three wires together, they were secured by wrapping the wires onto the side of the caddy.  There were tails from the 1.5" Silky Ribbon that I pulled up into the flowers before trimming.  Also 1.25 Taupe Silk Ribbon is looped and tied onto the wire side of the caddy.  The 2" wide Silk Melissa Frances Tulle Ruffle Layered Trim is glued to the underside of the rose base. Since there were metal birds on the shower caddy, I knew these Prima Birdsong Script Birds would be perfect.  I glued one atop of another to create dimension.  There are twelve of these pretties in a package! A Gallery Rose - Quillen to finish off the entire embellishment is also glued on the flower base! 

And there we have it!  A gift not wrapped so to speak, but embellished and presentable to the bride to be!  Searching for a card was not as easy!  We decided to go with THIS card I had previously made using Becca Feeken Stamp  Background, Vintage Alphabet Soup HERE.  We removed the "you" so the card simply read "Love" and now appropriate for the gift. This card sports silk, satin, and seam binding ribbons from The Stamp Simply Store and is tied onto the top of the caddy by slipping the card into a Clear Envelope.  I punched two holes into the top of the clear envelope and tied it onto the top of the shower caddy! Voila', mission accomplished!

Stamp Simply Ribbon Inspiration - Prima!

Good Saturday Morning! Welcome to our Stamp Simply Ribbon Store Inspiration Hop! We are featuring Prima Products today!  I have a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card to share with you!  The beautiful Prima Paper is found in their En Francais 6x6 paper pad. I distressed the edge of one designer paper and also the edge of the blue card stock. Next I punched 9-1 inch and 9-1 1/4 inch circles and rubbed Tim Holtz Old Paper Distress inks around the edges. All the embellishments are coordinated with the En Francais products!  Easy is what I like! The Flowers are HERE. The butterflies are HERE. On my card, I layered several and fluttered the wings before adhering to top circle. And do you see the darling En Francais wooden buttons?  Love, Love, Love all the coordinating of these pretties! A little bit of Burlap String, Seam Binding, and adhesive pearls complete the card!

Here is the card inside! One of the pages in the En Francais paper pad is a wonderful page with cross stitch letters and numbers! I cut out the letters to spell "Hello" and glued them onto the oval tag.  Another butterfly and adhesive pearl finish the creation!
