Friendship IS Happiness

I needed a special thank you card for a dear friend and pulled out two new JustRite sets that are being released today! HOORAY! You do not have to preorder, all July 7 releases are ready to be ordered and shipped! This card will be hand delivered, so I pulled out the wide ribbon for the bow! Visit Sharon's ribbon store HERE! From this Friendship Set, I used the outer border shown on my 3 1/4" round wood stamper. All ink is Memento Tuxedo Black. This set offers a full array of friendship sentiments and images. For the copic colored floral image, I stamped a portion of the Thinking of You stamp (the middle stamp image shown on package) after cutting it apart. Take a peek in the photo below. Some stamps are easier than others to cut apart, so I only cut ones that I can be sure to have room for a clean cut and have the ability to place the pieces together again for stamping. This picture shows the two cut pieces placed on my OVAL 2 1/4" x # 1/16" wooded stamper. I stamped the image twice, once to the left and turning stamp around and stamping again to the right of previous stamped image! At first I thought I would stamp a border of sorts, but after two images stamped, I saw a butterfly, so I went for it!!! Even though the wings are not mirrored images, it works. I simply cut around the image to create the butterfly shape.
Here are the copics used. All paper aside from the SU green, is from Papertreyink. PTI Berry Sorbet is embossed with my Cuttlebut "Leafy Branch" older and slightly sanded. Antennas are small silver straight pins from my husbands dress shirts! Friendship and Happiness ring is cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities.
These are just two of the JustRite sets being released TODAY, July 7! Check all the other release sets and products HERE! For daily updates, take a peek on JustRites blog and right hand blog bar to locate all current JustRite creations! You will be inspired!
THANK YOU for visiting, I am working on taking pictures of my studio. The construction is complete, just have to organize the goods! I am excited for you to see! Stay tuned!
Take good care!

How pretty!! Lucky friend! I like the ring cut out and image separate in the middle on the embossed layer. Thanks so much for sharing your ideas and talents with us. I always find something in your cards that I want to attempt myself. Have a great day.
