This card heart is stamped with StazOn jet black onto MM BigDot Rouge Paperie designer paper. A white Papertreyink velvet blossom, tiny button with adhesive gem is added for embellishment . Both gift cards are cut using Labels Two Spellbinders Nestabilities die. Using the same embellishments on the felt heart after embroidering a line stitch to replicate the image lends a pretty close looking heart to the stamped image.
The left candle uses felt for the jar wrap and the other candle uses batting. Both jars utilize May Arts ribbon and DMC floss. The jar on the right has two larger velvet blossoms with ribbon centers on the ends of red felt strip.

ReplyDeleteBarb, these are both JUST fabulous!!! You are so creative and clever and out of the box ALL the time -- I love them both!!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are great, Barb. I'm heading to my craft supply cupboard---was a den mother to cub scouts many years ago and we used lots of felt. I still have 2-3 gallon bags of felt pieces and lots of embroidery floss from my cross-stitching days. Thanks for the reinspiration. I'm thinking of cozies for each holiday and season! Happy Valentine's Day!
