Sour Cream Treat Containers!

Happy Thanksgiving SALE at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store! Click HERE!

Need a quick treat container?  How about a table place setting surprise?  Write your guests names on the container tags so they can find their own seat at the table!  However you choose to use these nifty paper creations, the recipients will surely know they are special!  I created three samples for you today!  Lets get started!

I chose Kaisercraft's Holly Bright 6 1/2" paper pad for all the sour cream containers.  I trimmed each sheet down to a 5" x 5" square and placed a line of ScorTape along the left paper edge. I lined up the left paper edge to the right paper edge, pressing to secure adhesive, but not creasing the paper.

I placed the seam line down the middle of the container as shown in the above photo.  Now to secure the ends! Placing ScorTape inside the inner paper edge does the trick.  Be sure to wait until you have added the container's contents before sealing the other end!  Ask me how I know!

Remember the Paper Crimper?  I have not used this tool in ages! I love the texture it gives as well as reinforcing a strong hold on the ScorTape.  Voila' container complete! It's really that simple. HERE is a link to the Splitcoaststampers Sour Cream Container Tutorial.  There are some really cute ones in their gallery link too!

Now on to container embellishing! Kaisercraft paper pads give coordinating punch out pages and I utilized them for the tags attached to the sour cream containers. A bit of trim, ribbons, sugar dots, and string and there we have it!The acorn container paper is one of the paper pad's speciality sheets, the acorn image is a raised embossed design and is so much prettier than in the photo! Love Kaisercraft's Holly Bright Paper Pad for this type of project.  I had to look no further for special paper and tags!

Wishing you and your loved ones a Blessed Thanksgiving.  Be sure to check out The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store's SALE this week!  And Sharon's BLOG for all the store product updates and project ideas!  Happy Thanksgiving!

Get Well Guy Card for a Proper Gentleman!

I needed a Get Well guy card a while ago and this is what I came up with!  LOVE this Haberdashery Vintage Labels Five Set by Amy Tedder.  I utilized JustRite Custom Spellbinders Vintage Labels Dies, LOVE coordinating dies too!

Look at the wonderful images in JustRite's Haberdashery Vintage Labels Five! I stamped the hat trio image twice with Memento Potter's Clay ink, once on cream card stock and again on the gray blue card stock before die cutting . The hats are shaded using Copic Markers.  The Get Well sentiment is found in JustRite's Large Elegant Sentiments and also cut using a die in JustRite's Custom Spellbinders Vintage Labels Five Set.  Simple mini cording to hang the tag completes the card!  I also used this great set on this Hershey Bar Creation HERE.

Consider Haberdashery Vintage Labels Five for all the guy stamping needs in your life!  It's a perfect set to use all year long!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Merry Christmas Kaisercraft Poinsettia Card!

Good Friday Evening!  Hope you had a fantastic week!  I'm working on Christmas cards and have a really simple card that is elegant, but quick!  That's what we need, right?  The Kaisercraft poinsettia image is stamped with Versamark Watermark ink and heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.  The detail in this image is gorgeous and the embossing highlights them perfectly!  The stamped panel has a punched half circle underneath the bow.  That way I got the seam binding bow where I wanted, over more to the right of the panel edge!  What about the gold leaf sequins?  Yes, I know leaf sequins,  LOVE them!  And what a bargain, you can get 50 of them for 75 cents!  I feel that little sequin detail completes the card design!

This is one of the sentiment images found in Kaisercraft's Christmas Carol and is stamped with VersaFine Black Ink.  It looks fabulous too!   Voila, and the card is complete!  I hope this gives you inspiration to get started or finish up your Christmas cards!

Thanks for stopping by!  I so appreciate your visits!  Check out Sharon's BLOG for all The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store new product updates along with ideas and inspiration!

Season's Greetings meets Kaisercraft Gingerbread Paper Pad! Stamp Simply Style!

Welcome to Wednesday!  That means I have a post for The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!  Today features a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card that utilizing the darling papers from Kaisercraft's Gingerbread line!  I know you have read this before, but I LOVE Kaisercraft paper pads. A few important facts about these paper pads worth noting:
  • Gingerbread paper pad contains twenty-four single-sided 6-1/2 x 6-1/2 inch designer papers (two each of twelve designs)
  • Eight 6-1/2 x 6-1/2 inch spot varnish papers (two each of four designs)
  • Four 6-1/2 x 6-1/2 inch foil papers (two each of two designs)
  • Four 6-1/2 x 6-1/2 inch die-cut pages

The darling Santa image is an actual page in this paper pad.  I trimmed it to 4' x 5 1/4" leaving a border of the cardstock card base. The stripe and dotted papers are from the Gingerbread paper pad too!  And that darling little red tree tag is one of the paper pad's die punch outs.  The only stamped feature is the sentiment on the same Santa designer paper!  A few sequins (I used two sizes) with adhesive pearls, seam binding bow tied with burlap string and voila' we're done! I love using Tombow Mono Liquid Glue for sequins, especially!  The bottle has an applicator on each end giving easier application for tiny items such as sequins!  This is such a doable easy way to get those cards completed, using a paper pad with die cuts and decorative pages! Happy holiday card making to you!

Initial Package Tags! My Mind's Eye Vintage Christmas from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!

It's Wednesday!  That means I have a post for The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and I've created a set of four package tags! I'm trying to get ahead of the holiday busy season! One can try, lol!

I wanted mass producing to be easy, so I used one paper pad, My Mind's Eye Vintage Christmas.  I also used two Spellbinders Die sets for all die cutting, 2011 Heirloom Ornaments and Font One Upper Case alphabet. Fortunately for main gift giving, I have all different first name initials of the individuals who I give presents to.  I can add the initial, and voila' no writing, we know who the gift belongs to and I am done in the tag department!  It is hard to see, but I did add Tombow Mono Adhesive and Tim Holtz Rock Candy glitter to Santa's beard, mustache, and hat trim! (the left tag)
As I cut the ornament tag base, I realized some really cool designs were being left in paper scraps!  I hand trimmed several of those to add to the tag!  I just could not let them go!  Both Santa images, the tree, the word "Merry" (is adhered with adhesive foam squares) and the "Joy" letters (the letter O is raised and adhered with square foam squares).  The letter "O" is also embellished with metallic silver string, an adhesive gem, and fabulous cut out olive leaf trim!  A wonderful feature of this trim is can easily be cut apart as I have done to accommodate what embellishing you may need! Coordinating MME Vintage Christmas Washi Tape is shown on the above right tag.

JustRite Papercraft Day Four Coffee & Friends Background Cling Stamp

Good Thursday Morning to you!  Here we are, JustRite Papercraft's November Release, Day Four!  Today we are previewing a new background stamp, Coffee & Friends!
Every holiday I visit a local nut and coffee house store, well, truth be known, I visit there all year long!  They package their fabulous coffees in one pot measurements, and during the holiday season, my favorite is called Holiday Cheer.  It's a given if you are gifted a plate of holiday goodies from our family, it will have a package of this particular coffee attached somehow!  I have always wanted to come up with a better presentation when gifting!  And now I have one using this awesome Coffee & Friends Background Stamp!  Let's get started!

Coffee & Friends is a background cling stamp made of deeply etched red rubber and clings to any acrylic block. Coffee & Friends is designed by Amy Tedder. I stamped it twice, once with Memento Rich Cocoa ink on cream card stock and once with Memento Potter's Clay ink.

The cocoa brown stamped image is cut using a Spellbinders Grand Large Label Die and is scored at the side ticket corner point. (shown in above photo) The day I worked on this project I happened to run a couple errands and grabbed a coffee!  As it was sitting on my desk upon returning home, I thought why not take that sleeve and add it to the mix!  I will be doing this again!  LOVE it! I then trimmed out the Potter's Clay Rooster to use atop the recycled coffee sleeve!  He also received some shadowing with a sponge dauber and old paper ink. The comb atop the rooster's head also was colored with my Tim Holtz Festive Berries marker.

A line of ScorTape is placed behind the scored edge to hold the bottom of the coffee package.  ScorTape is also applied to secure the coffee sleeve.  Embellishing details include, a bow tied with gold metallic string and a die cut tag to write recipient's name on!  That Coffee Bean printed ribbon is perfect, no?

Be sure and stop at the following JustRite Papercraft designers blogs to see what they have been creating with this wonderful new background stamp!

Let It Snow! Stamp Simply Ribbon Store Style!

SHARED AT THE FOLLOWING:

Welcome!  Today is The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store Wednesday's post and I created a 4 1/4" square Christmas card!  I used a "new to me" item on today's card, Spellbinders Precious Metals Foil Paper!  I die cut the silver color with the two smallest dies from Spellbinders Lacey Pennants Die Set to create a collage of trees!  I think they look like cookie sheets!  Loved how easy this was to do!  I then embellished them with sequins using TomBow Mono Adhesive! Have you tired this adhesive?  It has a fine point that allows a tiny drop of glue (perfect for sequins), with the opposite end having a glue dispensing type glider!  LOVE it!  I didn't stop tree embellishing there, I added a tiny Kaisercraft adhesive pearls!

The stamped sentiment is found in JustRite's Large Fancy Holiday Sentiments Set.  I then die cut it using a banner die included in the Spellbinders Lacey Pennants Set.  I love the ribbon colors and that Prima Pink flower is the perfect touch for the ribbon embellishment!  Voila', Let it Snow!

JustRite Papercraft Haberdashery Vintage Labels Five Clear Stamps, Day TWO

WELCOME to Day TWO of JustRite Papercraft's November Release! I am over the moon with today's project, I hope you like it! I saw this idea last year and LOVED it!  However I didn't get a chance to create it, until this week!  HERE is the original idea with a tutorial.  It was much easier than I anticipated!  I tweaked it to my needs by adding the stamped images, which creates more of that personal touch that I love!
Here is a side by side pic, to give an idea of the size of finished suit coat covered candy bar when using a King Size bar. I purchased mine at Target.  You can use any size candy bar using the simple measuring instructions from the tutorial.

Here is today's release set, Haberdashery Vintage Labels Five.  Is this set perfect for the men in our lives or what?  Haberdashery Vintage Labels Five contains 16 clear stamps and is designed by Amy Tedder.

Graphic45 Designer Paper works perfectly for this type of jacket, as it has a design on both sides of the pages.  Thus the cool striped lapels!  I had a scrap of a swiss dot dry embossed paper for the shirt!  The stamped hand trimmed bow tie is perfect, no?  The Dad tag and Happy Father's Day tag adds the finishing touch! The grey was added with a sponge dauber before the die was removed.

You will delighted with all the wonderful creations by our talented JR Designers! Enjoy!

Day One, JustRite Papercraft Shoes Vintage Labels Five Cling Stamp Set

Welcome to Day ONE of JustRite's November Release!  We will be revealing a new set for five days!  So I hope you will join us this week for JustRite Papercraft inspiration galore!
How about a shaped card using Spellbinders Decorative Labels One Dies?  The flower image from today's Shoes Vintage Labels Six set is stamped onto Ranger watercolor paper with StazOn ink.  I used a water brush to color them and the background. The color is picked up onto the brush by lightly dabbing the brush onto the ink pads.  I wet the background before adding color and spread the water/color as far as it wanted.  The lower flower bouquet is cut using a craft knife to allow that portion to lay atop the die edge so it is not cut through! So, the flower bouquets are stamped and colored in place!

This wonderful Shoes Vintage Labels Six stamp set is designed by Amy Tedder and contains 9 cling stamps. The stamps are made of deeply etched red rubber that will cling to any acrylic block. The shoe is stamped and hand trimmed.  Its hard to see but I added SU Crystal Effects and a bit of glitter to glam them up!  A little bow and voila! The sentiment is stamped and die cut using a standard Spellbinders circle.  Adding those tiny twinkles add the finishing touch!

Check out the amazing creations the following super talented designers have for you today!  Click on the names and you will be taken to each respective blog. Enjoy!
