Welcome to JustRite Release Day Three! It's also JustRite's Friday Challenge! Since the challenge is to create a 3D creation, how about an altered frame using JustRite new release sets! The two girls are my granddaughters and the setting is church at Easter trying out the piano! I could not resist snapping several pictures of them! I must say they are a-dor-a-ble!
After removing the mat, I stamped it with JustRite's new Heart Scroll background stamp with Tim Holtz Old Paper Distress ink, first along the horizontal portion then proceeding to the vertical portions of the mat. I glued trim to the inner edge of the picture opening! LOVE this trim and you can find it HERE at The Stampm Simply RIBBON Store!
Here is a closer look at the trim and ribbon embellishment! The small Webster's Pages bird has be weathered a little by applying white acrylic paint on it. Small prima rose and more trim compliment the gorgeous pink silk ribbon bow! Love the subtle mat stamping! I also applied Kaiser adhesive pearls in each corner!
Using the far right edge stamp, stamped with Tim Holtz Tattered Rose Ink gives another bit of side framing for the pictures. Just look at all the die goodness in Justrite's new Classic Art Deco Borders Set. Spellbinders Die Templates E8-007 Edges One coordinate with this set perfectly! Yes, it's a good day and I thank you for stopping by! I am posting the original pics at the end of this post used in today's frame project as they did not show well in the framed project! Enjoy your day and see you tomorrow with a very special Stamp Simply RIBBON challenge creation! Oh yea, Baby! (that's a clue!)
