Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style in Red, White, and Blue!

It is Saturday and that means it's time for a Stamp Simply Ribbon Store Ribbon Inspiration Challenge! Sharon has issued a  Red, White, & Blue Inspiration Challenge and I decided to go with a fourth of July banner. I never seem to have much decor for patriotic holidays. This banner will actually hang on a small mirror by an entry door for all to see when they walk into our home!

I used JustRite's new set, Summer Words for my stamping! Pennant Spellbinder dies are HERE. Star Spellbinder Dies are HERE in the store. White wrinkle ribbon is what the pennants are strung on. Very easy to string using the Lacey pennant die. 3/8" blue stripe ribbon create the end bows, while 3/8" red gingham is strung through stars and knotted. Tim Holtz Distress Old Paper Ink is used to shade edges of banner pieces.

  37. Really like this banner. I don't hae a lot of decor for July 4th either, unless it's a tablecloth and cups and napkins for our BBQ :-) But this looks like a simple, easy way to decorate a little more. Thanks for the idea! Happy Mother's Day
