Using that RIBBON for Diaper Cakes!

I've been meaning to post these from our youngest daughter's baby shower last fall. Ribbon is not just for paper crafting embellishing, it certainly works well on on other projects such as these adorable diaper cakes! All ribbon is found at The Stamp Simply RIBBON Store. The Puppy's bow is made with 1.25″ Crochet Lace in Parrot Green and 1/2"wrinkle ribbon. I secured the diapers with a large rubber band and covered it with Webster’s Pages Fabric Flower Bloomers! So simple yet the ribbon embellishing gave each cake the look we were going for!
The color inspiration for the shower was this plate we used, love the colors here, as many of these colors are in all the nursery decor.
Here is a tiered cake, again covering the rubber bands with the trims and ribbons! Love the 3/4" pleated pink trim! I used pink sheer rosettes for the bottom tier, I even had one left for the cake top to use with 1" pink sheer ribbon! The green ribbon is 1″ Stitched Satin, all found at The Stamp Simply RIBBON Store!
I've been getting back to creating some while taking care of my husband, I will have some creations soon! Thanks so much for stopping by! Take Good Care!
