Happy Friday to you! How are you? It's November and you know what that means! Holiday thinking, holiday planning, and holiday crafting! I decided to get my grandchildren Christmas cards completed first this year! I always have good intentions, but so often get caught up with all the other crafting, and my own family items are not finished in time! Well, this year I am focusing on family first! Good plan?
Just look at this adorable Stampavie clear stamp image, Away in a Manger. Perfect for children, no? The Stamp Simply RIBBON Store has brand new Stampavie stamps in the store. Just take a look at all the goodness, HERE! The particular Stampavie image I used today, Away in a Manger is illustrated by Tina Wenke. Her fabulous detail provides a stamp that can be stamped and left as is because it is filled darling artwork. Or, you can chose to color the image like I have. I used Copic Markers for these two cards today.
A peek at the card inside! Using that "go to" set, JustRite's Large Fancy Holiday Sentiments again! I stamped my Merry Christmas sentiment with VersaFine Black Onyx ink. I love VersaFine Ink for clear stamping. I seem to get a cleaner image with VersaFine ink & clear stamps. With that said, my Copic colored image was stamped with Memento Ink Tuxedo Black because it does not bleed when using Copic Markers!
I have colored 4 more of these images! They are all different, no two are alike! I tried a study of grey Copic Markers on one of them! Will share soon! Stay tuned and have a fabulous Friday!
