Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style- Thank You!

For today's Stamp Simply Ribbon Inspiration, designers are making two cards! One Thank You card decked out with ribbon, flowers, & embellishments and for card number two, creating the same card, only leaving off all the bulk.

Thanks Cards
Here are my two Thanks Cards!  I hope you can tell the one that is more embellished than the other!  The crowns were purchased at Michaels in a package with one side being sticky.  I traced the crown shape onto Kasiercraft Chanteuse designer paper, cut out and stuck to crown base.

Thanks Card - Embellished Version
What better way to step up embellishing than to use my favorite, wonderful, 1/4" ringlet trim!  Add scortape to ringlet trim backside and carefully attach to crown edge, pressing firming as you go. Prima Avon Roses, silk ribbon add to the card's embellishments.

Thanks Card - Unembellished Version
And here is my unembellished version!  No trim, ribbons, or flowers!  Kaisercraft adhesive pearls, a couple ovals, stamped thanks sentiment. Thanks is stamped using Memento Rich Cocoa ink and is found in Everyday Greetings by Rubber Soul Wordsworth.
May Arts Ribbon Sampler - Vintage Brown - 25 yards
This Sampler is Mystery Blog Candy, meaning the winner will be drawn from comments on one of today’s participating blogs. Leaving a comment on each blog will increase your chances of winning.  The winner will be selected at 6pm EST on Tuesday, January 17 and will be posted on SHARON'S BLOG on Wednesday. You must check back to claim your prize if you are the lucky winner!

I really like both cards shown today, it teaches me that it is OK to go light on the embellishing!  Thank You for stopping by!  I really appreciate you visiting Explore.Dream.Discover.  Take good care!

The first word (and thought) when I saw these crownies was WOW! They are so cute and so girly! And the way You decorated one with sutage - suppose it's quite time-consuming, but the result is worth working! Love them both, Barb!

Love that crown shape! In your CAS challenge I really, really like the "more" card. It is so different and a crown always calls for lots of glitz!

Hi Barb~

What a great card shape! How fun and unique! I love it! And, yes, I can tell the difference between the CAS card and the more decorative card! LOL I love that you used the ringlet trim...it should be named for you! It seems like it should be named after you! I love the addition of the flowers, also.

Thanks for showing how wonderful some trim and flowers and beautiful paper can really make a difference between cards! Wow!

Love the crowns that you used, but I have to admit I really like the embellished card over the plain one. Love the colors you used on it, and the trim really makes the crown more regal.
