I am showing you what needs to be cut with the dies for each purse. The purse body is two large heart tags. The smallest heart die for embellishment.
The large circle tag, along with the midsized circle are used for the purse handle. Note how I positioned the dies, creating a smaller cut for the handle top and resulting in wider sides as the circle rounds out. I only used a section of the circle handle and this is shown further below.
Cut two midsized circles, one for the chocolate kiss bottom and one for the purse bottom.
The die cuts for the four purses shown today. The colors, designer paper, and embellishment possibilities are endless! Lets get started on the assembly now that all the die cuts are completed.
A peek at all two more purse favors! Aren't they adorable? Gotta love getting more mileage for your buck when you utilize those stamps and dies for more than just card making!
Lay die cut tag as shown and scor 1/2" up from the tag bottom and fold.
Adhere one die cut circle to kiss bottom.
Add more tape or adhesive of your choice to the bottom of the circle and place tag bottoms as shown.
I used the second midsized circle to cover the tag ends, I think it gives a more finished look and adds a bit more stability to the purse.
What the purse looks like from the inside!
I added one handle and adhered it to the inside purse front tag. You could simply tape the entire circle, but I snipped off the excess. Just couldn't leave it! Snip off the little tag hanger on the purse front tag, because the back hanger is folded over to the front creating a finished look, I added a bit of tape to the underside and pressed to hold the purse closed!
After assembly is complete, embellish as desired. Oh what fun! What a simple and easy treat to use at a birthday celebration or any springtime affair! Hope you can play along this week, complete challenge details will be up soon over on the Justrite's BLOG!
Thanks so much for taking the time to visit today! I appreciate it so much when you do! My husband is finally starting to heal from surgery and all the complications. What a time it's been! Thank you for all your prayers! Take good care!
