It's Tag Time for Stamp Simply Challenge164!

For Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply Challenge we are talking TAGS! Tags are small canvases to decorate that we pass along, on a gift or use to embellish a card or other project. ANY tag you might need for any occasion is great for today's challenge, the main requirement, HAVE FUN making tags!
I chose to make Christmas tags mainly to use on holiday packages and present the entire set as a gift in a coordinating package. Using my K&Company Yuletide Kit contents, I got to work!
The packaging I used is a 8oz cream cheese box! I have been saving this for some time, and realized the Yuletide Tag Pad tags would fit perfectly! The pad contains 24 tags and I used eight for my creation today. You can see my scor tape placement, I remove the tape backing one strip at a time, allowing me to manage the paper and keep it aligned with the box edges as I apply it.
Three of the tags here! The far right tag has two Yuletide adhesive chipboard stickers. I love this option for embellishing. I knew if I used the "Peace on Earth" sticker, it would stick up too far on the tag top edge and would be too tall to fit into my box. As I looked the stickers over, I realized they are layered, with the top layer smaller than the bottom but with the same main image. Carefully removing the top layer, I got the size I needed and left the bottom layer to use another time. Double the stickers! So instead of the 18 that come in the Yuletide Adhesive Chipboard package, I potentially could have 36! Score!
Two more, the crinkle ribbon is included in the kit too. This is the first time I've worked with crinkle ribbon! What Fun! And I do not have to worry if it gets scrunched in the box! Perfect!
My box holds all eight tags! I love the box flap, as it tucks in nicely and holds shut. This makes it easy, no fastener needed! Each tag is backed with cardstock from my scrap drawer. The edges are all sanded, as are the box edges. All materials used in today's project are from the K&Company Yuletide Kit found at The Stamp Simply Store. The Prima flower on box lid is also found at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!
A peek at how I finished the tag backs. I looped the ribbon, thread it through my punched hole, and taped to the tag back. I then punched a circle and used scor tape to attach, covering ribbon ends! Most likely I will give this little item as a holiday hostess gift! I hope she'll like it! Phew, another holiday project checked off the list! Have a great weekend everyone! Take Good Care!
