Today, I chose to stay with one pad of paper to draw inspiration from, that's simple, right? I love the non traditional holiday colors in Crate's Snowy Day Collection paper pad.
The size is 6"x6" and pages are double sided! I love that! There are several pages with these adorable trees. I added the sentiment "O Christmas Tree" to the paper with my stamp from RubberSouls's Holiday Stylized Set.(pictured at left) It looks just like the sentiment was printed on the paper! So simple, and when I trimmed the paper, it left a strip with the sentiment on, so I punched it out to place with the ribbon treatment.
Super simple ribbon treatment, running 1/2" scor tape along the back of my twill ribbon, and pressing down along the way as I went from side to side on the top paper layer. I tend to distress edges of paper when I want to cover the ends of ribbon or paper on the sides. For me, it's such a simple thing to do and lends a more finished look! Ribbon bow is looped twill, tied with twine and glued atop the pleated ribbon! Simple, easy! Stamp set, paper, ribbon & string are found at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store! The button is one from my stash!
So there you have it! A simple card with simple embellishing! I hope you are having a fabulous Friday and enjoy the rest of the designers clean and simple creations! Take good care! How about a baby Christmas ornament today? I made this First Christmas Booties set for our new granddaughter born last Saturday, weighing in at 7lbs. She is a honey! The pattern is a Babies Booties Simplicity #2397 pattern. I'd been in my local fabric store a while back, and with all the babies arriving in our family, I thought I would try my hand at sewing some felt booties. After getting the pattern home, viewing it on my desk for a couple months, I kept thinking there are so many papers that would make terrific booties. So, today's booties set is my first attempt, and OH, how I love having a pattern at my fingertips! I will be looking at fabric sewing patterns in a whole new way! Paper is K&Company Madeline. .jpg)

How about metal trimmed tags turned into presents? Buttons and pearls add to the hard rocks! Talk about an easy peasy way to get different sized squares in a jiffy! I used my new Cosmo
I stamped a gift tag using the "to" from Classic Christmas set and added that to the largest gift. I just can't get enough of the holiday red ribbon! The ever slight glitter edging on the sheer ribbon is just pure goodness to my eyes! LOVE it! Ribbon & string is found at
Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a Flower! How true! I am loving how this card looks! I left my Spellbinder circle dies on my border ring until I had lightly rubbed Tim Holtz old paper distress ink over the opening. Upon removal of the dies, it left this perfect shaded area connecting the leaves!
Copic Markers used: V12, V15, V17, Y21, Y17, YR65, O65, E17, E33, E31, G09, G24, W1. FlowerSoft Lavender is what I glued onto the flowers. It adds so much dimension and helps frame the bird! Don't they look real?

This is liquid hand wash, as the label put it! I purchased this item at Cracker Barrel. Here I included the stamped border to create a tag tied with some of my new holiday ribbons! Oh my, that sheer red with an ever so slight sparkle edging is fabulous! All ribbons and string are found at

I decided to create gift card holders out of Toilet Paper tubes! Yuppers, that's right! I was browsing blogs for gift card ideas and came across several of these! I pressed the empty tube flat, then proceeded with my bone folder to make the tube as flat as I could get it. It will not lay totally flat, it's kinda like a pillow box. One end is held together using scor tape.

I stamped the THREE hanging ornament stamp THREE times for this tag. Each tag sports a snowflake with buttons and adhesive gems. This helps tie the colors together. Plus a simple embellishment adds that extra dimensional charm to the tags. Each snowflake has
