Yesterday I mentioned I was working on this heart bunny! I have recycled a heart shaped Valentine box to create this adorable container. Every week
JustRite sponsors a challenge! This week the challenge is about going green, meaning recycling. I love to repurpose, recycle, and stretch the use of alterable items, so I am especially excited to show you what I made! All details are
HERE regarding the challenge!
Take a look, there is a $50.00 prize this week!

For the bow tie center, my image comes from
JustRite's Stitched With Love Set. It is stamped with StazOn black ink, with a SU button tied on with twine string from
The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. The darling heart stickers are Rain Dots from GinaK. ( I just went to the GinaK store and it looks like they are out, a punched cardstock heart would work as well!) Eyes are buttons from my stash, with adhesive pearls added, as well as pearls for the mouth. I will be gifting this bunny at a baby shower this weekend, for a little boy. He has already arrived and I thought we could go with the First Easter theme! I have to make my card yet!
This is the Valentine box with lid I started with.
I did not want any pink edging showing, so I sanded and painted the lid edges.
The lid was traced onto white cardstock and cut out to create the bunny face.
After I cut the heart shape face out, I distressed the edges with my MM distressing tool. I think this gives a fur like look!
Here is a pic of the lid before I attached the bunny face! It will not fall off! The cheeks are created with a sponge dauber and red pastel chalk. All Papertreyink designer paper is adhered with Scor tape. I just realized I did not take a side pic so you could see the covered box. I will take a picture and post when I get the camera out again!

For the bow tie, I punched two scalloped hearts with my purple MarvyUchida punch. I used my Spellbinders Labels Six, die #3 for the stamped center.
Papertreyink Spring Rain ink shading is applied with dauber around scallop hearts, and center. The ribbon and string is found at The
Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!
Thanks for stopping by! I love having you visit and appreciate it beyond words! Take good care! See you tomorrow!
