How many gingerbread girls and boys can you get from one grocery bag? A ton! In my ambition to get ahead of holiday gift giving...I decided to use Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply challenge this week to create ornaments!

THE CHALLENGE...use either brown postal wrap or brown bag paper on your creation. Your project may be anything at all: a card, wrapped gift, 3D item, or altered item(s). I chose to use a brown grocery bag and stamp this adorable gingerbread man with Memento Rich Cocoa ink. This image is from Holiday Button Bits , Papertreyink.

After stamping image, I used my white Inkssentials pen for eyes, mouth, and ric rac. A red Spica pen was used for the rosy cheeks. LOVE the little girly ones!

These ornaments will be gifted to our nieces and nephews at the holiday gathering we will be hostessing this year! It's a large family!!!

Miscellaneous ribbons, buttons, and embellishments used to create different looks for these darling ginger people! They are slightly stuffed with cotton balls and stitched with my sew mini machine.
The only paper used...a brown paper grocery bag! Gotta love that! Check out the rest of the Stamp Simply team to see what they have been up too this week!

OH MY GOSH!!! Talk about an over-achiever -- LOL!!! Oh, girl, I am in stitches!!! These are SO adorably cute and SO you. You are SO ahead of the game -- what a GREAT project. Just wish I could be at your house when these are all gifted out -- what lucky little nieces and nephews you have!!! You surely took your brown paper bag and ran with it - -LOL!!! Love it all!!!

I was positive these were cookies!!! If I didn't read more...I would have eaten them all up!!! You did one amazing job with this task. WOW They are yummy delicious cute. The embellies are terrific, colorful, imaginative and SO texture lovely. WOWOWOWOW!~

These are absolutely adorable!! I made some paper bag ornaments with acrylic paints about 13 years ago. They were nowhere NEAR as cute as these!! I think I might use the idea to make bag ties for the Christmas Goodie bags my daughter is going to take for her class this year. FABULOUS!!! Love the idea, thank you for sharing.
