Holiday Crafting Made Easy with a Stamp Simply Kit

Welcome to The Stamp Simply Store's November BLOG HOP! We are focusing on Holiday Crafting Made Easy with a Stamp Simply Kit! Our designers have much holiday goodness to share today! So sit back, get your favorite beverage and enjoy!
Remember several years ago, when those little individual sized fruit cans came into the market? Designers opened the can bottom, removed the fruit and filled the can with their own treat. Well, now many cans of fruit of all sizes have the very same containers and I thought I would create an easy gift idea using a recycled mandarin orange can! I chose materials from The Stamp Simply Graphic 45 Christmas Past KIT.
Here is the completed can! There is no stamping here, folks! Making this super fast and FUN! The can paper is adhered to the can with scor tape. The frame for the darling Santa paper is made using Spellbinders Labels Seventeen Dies, #2 and #3. The tag on the lid utilizes die #1. For the lid, Spellbinders Large circles Dies #3 and #4 are used.
A closer look at the finished lid! The gorgeous silk ribbon is tied onto the lid tab. And to aid in pulling the tab open, I used a piece of the crocheted lace included in the kit. Buttons are sewn on each end and the lace is thread through the tab opening, that way all one has to do is pull on the lace and the tab will pop open! The tag image is cut from another page in the Christmas Past paper pad! All materials are found in The Graphic45 Christmas Past Kit aside from miscellaneous buttons from my stash. I will be filling this container with candy, then apply a thin bead of glue along the bottom rim to hold the in place.
Today's offering of Stamp Simply BLOG CANDY is a gorgeous selection of red and white ribbon with a value of well over $50.00. To win, leave comments on all Blogs participating. This is a Mystery Candy, meaning we don't know from which Blog the winner will be selected, so leaving comments on ALL blogs gives you the best chance to win.
