It's a JustRite Snowfall in June!

Welcome! Today I have a winter creation for you! We are starting to think Christmas and gift giving! It's never too early, right? I used JustRite's new Snowfall Background Stamp! Not only is this stamp wonderfully designed for easy and creative card making, it's also a cinch to turn it into a little purse! This beauty will be perfect to place for a gift card, a money gift, or even candy! Four Hershey Kisses line up perfectly inside!

I used PapertreyInk Fresh Snow ink to stamp my Snowfall Background image on Echo Pink textured Cardstock and heat embossed image with clear embossing powder. The texture of the paper gives the image a fabric look!

Here are the stamped embossed images with one cut using Spellbinder's Large Labels Die #2. Now they are ready for scoring!

Using the Scor-it-All mini board, I scored along the inside line of the inked image. When folding on scored lines, a purse bottom is now created! The Mini Scor-it-All Board is found at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

The purse top is created using a new stamp from JustRite's new Cling Stamp Set, Thank You Labels Twenty. After stamping image with Memento Angel Pink ink, I die cut the image using Spellbinder's Labels Twenty Die #3 and scored down the middle lengthwise.  The solid pink portion of purse topper is cut using Lables Twenty Die #2 and scored down the middle widthwise.

Thank You Labels Twenty was released yesterday!  HERE is the post with all the designer's inspiration for this set! For the purse today, the scored pink stamped label is punched with two holes on the score line to accommodate the 1/2" looped trim found at The Stamp Simply RIBBON Store. The ends are glued along the inner fold with Aleene's Tacky Glue.

The "Let it Snow" sentiment tag is stamped from one of 18 stamps found in JustRite's new clear set Large Fancy Holiday Sentiments!  Let it Snow is stamped with Martha Stewart ocean ink, with the snowflake image stamped with Memento Angel Pink ink.  The tag is edged with Martha Stewart coarse glitter as is the punched snowflake embellishment.

Thank you for stopping by! Let the holiday crafting begin! I would much rather have my snowfall inside in stamp form!  Take care and have a blessed day!

Be inspired! Get in the Holiday creating spirit! It most certainly will happen when you visit the following talented JustRite designer's blogs! Enjoy!

Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style-Melissa Frances

Happy Saturday to you! Today's Stamp Simply Style Inspiration is coming to us from Melissa Frances Products! I've made a much needed Congrats card using paper from Melissa Frances Kitchsy Kitchen 6" x 6" paper pad and crepe paper from Melissa Frances Vintage Crepe Paper Assortment! I LOVE this crepe paper, takes me back to the quality crepe paper of my youth! The card base size is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

I want to share how I created my crepe paper flower! It's so simple and easy! Above you see three layers of blue crepe paper. I have placed all Spellbinders Blossoms Three dies in order of size before running it through my Grand Calibur. This created rings of die cut blossom edging in various sizes!

After separating the die cut blossom rings, I cut the ring to allow a starting end point! The adhesive foundation to the flower is a Cosmo Cricket Gluber. It is a very sticky circle that has adhesive on both sides.

In this photo, I started with the end point, pressing the inner blossom die cut on the outer edge of the gluber circle, continuing around in a circle, stretching the paper while pressing. Stretching the edge creates ripples in the crepe paper thus creating the look of a flower!

Here is a closer look at the flower!  Once all the gluber was covered with crepe paper, I went in and stretched the crepe paper edging even more. Melissa Frances adhesive pearls are found HERE. The card sentiment is from JustRite's You are the Best Cling Set and cut out using Spellbinder's Lacey Pennant Set dies.

Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style in Red, White, and Blue!

It is Saturday and that means it's time for a Stamp Simply Ribbon Store Ribbon Inspiration Challenge! Sharon has issued a  Red, White, & Blue Inspiration Challenge and I decided to go with a fourth of July banner. I never seem to have much decor for patriotic holidays. This banner will actually hang on a small mirror by an entry door for all to see when they walk into our home!

I used JustRite's new set, Summer Words for my stamping! Pennant Spellbinder dies are HERE. Star Spellbinder Dies are HERE in the store. White wrinkle ribbon is what the pennants are strung on. Very easy to string using the Lacey pennant die. 3/8" blue stripe ribbon create the end bows, while 3/8" red gingham is strung through stars and knotted. Tim Holtz Distress Old Paper Ink is used to shade edges of banner pieces.

You're Invited...to a BBQ Apron! JustRite Style!

Summer Words/Cozy Plaid BBQ Apron Invite Card
Welcome to the last day of JustRite's May Release! I combined sentiments from Summer Words along with a new background stamp that was released last week! So, I thought a plaid apron was in order for a BBQ invite! This was super easy using the plaid background stamp!

Spellbinders Grand Large Labels Die #2 and a Mega Oval Die is how I cut my stamped card stock for the apron. Super simple as shown in picture above to line up along the plaid lines! I stamped the background image twice, and die cut two aprons. That easy! The second apron was cut in half and sewn on to the lower portion to create a pocket on the apron (I was just over at the Spellbinders store and could not find the Mega Oval dies, but really any oval would work). The white borders edging up on the pocket was cut with A Classic Edge One die cut.

Summer Words is a Clear Stamp Set and sports 25 stamps! Perfect set to cover summer holidays as well as general needed sentiments! I especially love the variety of font styles in this set!

Imagine the options with this wonderful background stamp, Cozy Plaid. JustRite offers many background stamps for all your stamping needs! Thank You for stopping by today! I hope you had a blessed weekend!

These girls make my heart smile!

Welcome to JustRite Release Day Three! It's also JustRite's Friday Challenge!  Since the challenge is to create a 3D creation, how about an altered frame using JustRite new release sets! The two girls are my granddaughters and the setting is church at Easter trying out the piano! I could not resist snapping several pictures of them! I must say they are a-dor-a-ble!
After removing the mat, I stamped it with JustRite's new Heart Scroll background stamp with Tim Holtz Old Paper Distress ink, first along the horizontal portion then proceeding to the vertical portions of the mat. I glued trim to the inner edge of the picture opening! LOVE this trim and you can find it HERE at The Stampm Simply RIBBON Store!

Here is a closer look at the trim and ribbon embellishment! The small Webster's Pages bird has be weathered a little by applying white acrylic paint on it. Small prima rose and more trim compliment the gorgeous pink silk ribbon bow!  Love the subtle mat stamping! I also applied Kaiser adhesive pearls in each corner!

Using the far right edge stamp, stamped with Tim Holtz Tattered Rose Ink gives another bit of side framing for the pictures. Just look at all the die goodness in Justrite's new Classic Art Deco Borders Set. Spellbinders Die Templates E8-007 Edges One coordinate with this set perfectly! Yes, it's a good day and I thank you for stopping by! I am posting the original pics at the end of this post used in today's frame project as they did not show well in the framed project!  Enjoy your day and see you tomorrow with a very special Stamp Simply RIBBON challenge creation!  Oh yea, Baby! (that's a clue!)

Enjoy the Ride! Let the Adventure Begin...

Finished Notebook with matching Pen Set
Welcome to Justrite Release Day Two! On my creation today I have used a new JustRite Cling Background Stamp, Vintage Travel and a couple images from JustRite's new Cling Going Places Vintage Labels Set.
Before and After Background Stamped Notebooks
Here is a blank notebook and one that I stamped with the background stamp. I wanted you to see how this simple stamping transformed the look completely! I stamped the background using Tim Holtz Frayed Burlap Ink. Tim Holtz Old Paper ink is used for shading.

My Vintage Airplane Label is stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa Ink and shaded with Tim Holtz Old Paper Ink. I trimmed the label and applied a touch of Tim Holtz Blue Jeans Ink in the sky area. Enjoy the Ride sentiment is stamped with Memento Cottage Ivy ink.

An oldie but good idea is to create a stamped pen insert to match a paper notebook or paper pad. I stamped the Vintage Travel background onto white Recollections Card stock, then cut away the portion I wanted for the pen. After removing the ink component, I rolled stamped paper and inserted into empty pen barrel. Next, I reinserted the ink component and replaced the cap. Easy project today! Thanks for stopping by! I have a special photo project tomorrow to share! See you then!

It's JustRite Release Time! Anchors Away!

Anchors Away 4" x 4" Canvas
Here we are, JustRite release day! And we are featuring a new clear set, called Anchors Away! I was thrilled when I saw this set, as I had one 4" x 4" canvas to complete to go along with the others found HERE. I'm so glad I procrastinated now! I had the canvas ready to go, covered with designer paper from Webster's Pages Yacht Club, complete with anchors!
JustRite Anchors Away Clear Set
Anchors Away features 23 clear stamps designed by Amy Tedder of Amy Tedder Designs. I stamped the top medallion with Memento Rich Cocoa onto the same Webster's Pages Yacht Club designer paper the canvas is covered with. It is cut using a JustRite Custom Nested Medallion Spellbinders Die. I colored the border and rope with Copic Markers. The sentiment, Anchors Away is stamped with Adirondack Currant Ink and the anchor itself is stamped with StazOn Black Ink. The anchor is trimmed out before being covered with SU Crystal Effects. Tim Holtz Old Paper Ink is used for shading. Red Webbed Weave, blue seam binding, and adhesive gems complete the canvas and are found at The Stamp Simply RIBBON Store!

I can't wait to get all four canvases up on the wall! For sure when that happens, I will post a picture!  Thank You for stopping by today! I hope you get a chance to check out all the JustRite Designer's BLOGS listed below! They have JustRite new release goodness to share! See you tomorrow with another new release creation!
