Let Your Soul Sing!

Welcome to Day One of JustRite's June Release!  We're starting a couple days early this month!  Today I have a trio of cards using our first set, Let Your Soul Sing, designed by Amy Tedder of Amy Tedder Designs. I began by stamping my branch image with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.  Each top stamped panel was then cut using a Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight Die.

And look at these saving for our Spellbinder crafting needs!  JustRite is offering 20% off their Spellbinders products! What a super deal now through June 10! Click on photo to take you to the store for savings!

Next up was stamping the birds, flowers & butterfly images onto colored cardstock with VersaMark Watermark Ink. All stamped embellishment images were then scissor trimmed before being adhered to cards using Aleene's Tacky glue. Die cut card panels along with each stamped sentiment are attached to card base using Therm O Web foam dimensionals.

Let Your Soul Sing is a JustRite clear set featuring 23 stamps.  There is tons of versatility with this set and I cannot wait for you to see all the designers creations today! Fabulous does not even begin to describe!

And here is a look at the final card!  The sentiments are found in JustRite's Clear Set, Grand Sentiments.  Cardstock cutouts are embellished with Kaisercratft Adhesive pearls from The Stamp Simply Store.  The gorgeous ribbon is faux Canvas also from The Stamp Simply Store HERE.  And the variety of Prima flowers are found HERE.

Well Traveled at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!

How about some Happy Father's Day Cards today?  I need four this year!  So, fast, fun and easy is where its at for these creations!  I utilized Carta Bella's Well Traveled 6 x6 paper and adhesive chipboard elements!  The Well Traveled Chipboard elements contain 35 chipboard pieces.  I used at least twenty four on five creations so far!  That means I have enough left for more creating!  Can't beat the bargain, the entire package is $3.99!  HERE is where you can take a peek of the package!

Don't you love the airplane paper?  This Well Traveled 6" x 6" paper pad is chocked full of great paper to use on your creations!  HERE is where you can peek at the paper pad. Faux Canvas Ribbon, 3/16" Stitched Ribbon, and twisted paper cord string are the perfect embellishing choices for Well Traveled paper and chipboard elements.  The stamped Happy Father's Day sentiment is from JustRite's All in the Family Large Sentiments.  This same sentiment is stamped on the card insides on the top two cards!  For that stamping I used VersaFine Black Onyx Ink.

It's Twins!

Good Friday to you!  I have another monogram creation to share with you today as The Stamp Simply Store continues with monogram week!  We recently found out our niece is having twins, and I wanted to make a special card for the expectant parents!

I went to my Kaisercraft 6 1/2" x 6 1/2" Bundle of Joy paper pad for inspiration.  We know they're expecting a girl and boy, so I also pulled out my coordinating Bundle of Joy clear stamp set for the boy and girl silhouette images.  The silhouettes are stamped with VersaFine Black Onyx ink.   Spellbinders A2 Fancy Weave dies were used to cut the panel bases with the small panel affixed upon the larger one using Therm O Web foam square dimensionals. The letter stamps are found in JustRites Monogram your Journey Clear stamp set and also stamped with Onyx Black.  Another feature of monogramming stamps, is you can spell whatever words you would like!  So in this case I spelled the word twins, since we do not know the babies names yet.  The bow is made of three colors of seam binding with a  Prima Miss Godiva Celedon glued on bow top.  Sharon has created a seam binding package to coordinate with Kaisercraft's  Bundle of Joy products!  Click HERE to see the special seam binding package that contains 30 yards of seam binding.  All the colors are gorgeous and how wonderful to have all the coordinating seam binding ribbons to coordinate with matching designer paper!  Doesn't get much better than that!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I appreciate your visits,
check back for another post featuring a Mother's Day Card for my daughter!

It's all about the Journey!

Welcome to Justrite's Day Four of their May Release!  Today, JustRite is featuring a new background stamp, The Journey, and the set, Monogram your Journey!  I LOVE me some monogramming!  I think you know that by now!  I decided to use these sets for a girl graduation card.  At first glance, these stamps would probably go into the more masculine column, but I think they fabulously work for feminine creations too!

First, I stamped this wonderful background stamp, The Journey, with VersaFine Smokey Gray ink before tearing all around the edges.  Using a sponge dauber with Tim Hotlz Worn Lipstick Distress Ink, I daubed randomly on the stamped image.

The anchor image, sentiment and letter A from Monogram Your Journey is stamped with VersaFine Smokey Gray ink.  I then scissor trimmed the image and used my circle punches for the centers, sentiment and letter. The edges are also sponge daubed with the same ink.  I also went into the banners on the anchor image with the worn lipstick pink ink.  Spellbinders Stars Five dies cut the stars on the card and Want2Scrap Pearls embellish the star edges! 5/8" solid gray plaid ribbon bow and Prima Lady Godiva Strawberry Ice Flowers are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

It's Monogram Week At The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!

Greetings!  This week The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store is featuring all things MONOGRAMMED!  JustRite has created two new monogram stamp sets and this week SSRS designers are creating with monogramming in mind, and I could not be more thrilled!  Before I get to my monogram creation, here is a bit of catch up info!  Last year, in many ways, turned into 52 very long weeks.  As I begin to post more, I will be sharing bits & pieces to bring you up to date and share photos!  To begin, I would like to share with you that our youngest daughter got married last weekend!  Of course, this Momma got to add a few paper crafting items to the mix!  Let's get started!!!

Precious as it gets!  Two of our granddaughters and two of the grooms nieces were flower girls in the wedding!  Our daughter decided she did not want the traditional basket for flower petals, so we embellished little buckets!  They worked perfectly! They were purchased at Oriental Trading's online store.

With four flower girls with identical flower petal buckets, it was a must to give each their own personalization!  Not only did this help throughout the day, it made each of them to feel special to see their very own name initial. Allow me to introduce Graceful Monogram HERE. I replaced the white ribbon handle with beautiful satin ribbon that matched the wedding colors!  I added a die cut element to the bucket base using Spellbinders A2 Bracket Borders that was attached with 1/8" Scor Tape.  Therm O Web Dimensionals were used to secure the large purple bloom. The blooms were purchased at Michaels!

The decorative circle border is stamped with Versafine Smokey Gray Ink and scissor trimmed.  It is adhered atop a Spellbinders D Lites Medallion Two die cut and placed upon purple cardstock allowing it to peek through!  I also placed Kaisercraft adhesive pearls on the border. HERE is the entire JustRite Graceful Monogram Set.

Here is a picture featuring two of the Flower Girl Hair Clips!  I used a bit of purple tulle behind a white sheer tinsel edged ribbon bow, a little piece of satin ribbon along with a Prima Serenade Purple Flower!  A little feather with gems for a bit of flair!

And last but not least the reception table favors!  This is what 144 mini champagne splits  with straws look like complete with a JR stamped tag, silk ribbon bow and a Prima Serenade Purple flower!  I LOVE how these turned out!

A closer look at the tag!  Using the sentiment stamp from JustRite's Live, Laugh, Love, Vintage Labels Two Set, I stamped it with VersaFine Black Onyx Ink.  Both the stamped tag base and sentiment tag top were cut using Custom JustRite Spellbinders Vintage Labels Two Die Set. Tag top is attached using Therm O Web Dimensionals to raise it from tag base.  The tag is tied onto bottle neck using gorgeous 1.25" purple Silk Ribbon! Finishing touches, a Prima Serenade Purple Bloom glued onto bow center and Kaisercraft adhesive pearl!

Be sure to check out Sharon's BLOG, No Time To Stamp all week to see all the monogrammed creations!  HERE is Monday's post for you!  I will have one more monogram creation to share on Friday and hopefully I will have more wedding pictures to share too!  Take good care!

Happy Mother's Day! JustRite Style!

Welcome to Day One of JustRite's May Release!  Six days packed full of 10 new stamp sets and inspiration galore, just for you!  I started my needed Mother's Day card list, and first on that list, my Mom!  3 1/4" x 6 1/4" is what this card measures in size.

JustRite is featuring Irises Vintage Labels Four for the first May release set.  In my card, the image and sentiments are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Faber-Castell Big Brush Markers, Subtle color pack and Leaf Green.  Did you know the JustRite Store now has Faber-Castell products!  Hooray, I'm in love with their markers and gelatos!!!  Once the image was colored I lightly spritzed with water and let the colors and ink bleed a tiny bit!

Irises Vintage Labels Four coordinate with JustRite's Custom Spellbinders Dies, Vintage Labels Four.  Not only did I use the die to cut my colored image, I also cut designer paper elements with an oval and small rectangle too add a bit more interest.  Designer paper is the Collectable Remarkable line from My Minds Eye, a Prima Perlee Bebe Sun Kiss bloom, and 5/8" green faux canvas ribbon works perfectly behind the sentiments to complete the card! Have a great day, see you tomorrow!

Enjoy what these talented designers have to share with you today!  You will be inspired!  Click on designer name to take you to each of their respective blogs.
