Silk Ribbon- Color Charts, Sampler Packs and BLOG Candy!

May Arts Silk Ribbon has been a long time favorite product at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!  We know many of you love using silk ribbon too! Wait till you see what fellow team designer, Michelle created to make it a bit easier in ribbon color selection!  In the quest to make it easy,  Michelle has prepared a color chart for us to use, comparing May Arts Silk Ribbon colors to both Stampin’ Up cardstock colors and A Muse Studios cardstock colors. We know you’ll enjoy these color charts and find them very useful. Thank you so much, Michelle, for your time and effort in this project! You rock!

Let’s begin with the color charts:

The Stamp Simply RIBBON Designers have projects to show you today, as well as some fabulous SILK RIBBON BLOG CANDY!  Be sure to read completely to the end of the posts to see the projects and learn about the blog candy offerings.  I am re posting this card trio with silk ribbon bows!  I love this LaBlanche Stamp, Santa with Holly in Border!  HERE is the previous post, check it out to learn about the various colorings on these cards!

JustRite Papercraft previews Becca's Card Kit!

Are you as excited as we are about Becca's New Kit Club?  JustRite Papercraft has been working behind the scenes with Becca Feeken since April putting together an awesome kit club program. If you missed Becca's big announcement post you can read her kit club story on her blog, here.
The stamp and die set are only available in the September Kit Club.  There are a limited number of kits available for this month that can be purchased without becoming a kit club member.  For all the details on the Silver & Gold Memberships click here.

Altered Mini Cigar Box
For my project using Becca's Kit, I altered a mini cigar box! I purchased it at Michaels.  What a perfect way to save those special letters you want to keep and treasure!  I also think this box would be perfect for a stamp collector!

Becca Feeken's Signed Sealed Delivered Clear Stamp Set
What a privilege to work with Becca's stamps and dies!  I love her style and I know you will love the kit!  I stamped several of the images with various colored inks!  I am using my favorite ringlet trim on the top box edges and this time I added a bit of waxed string!

Spellbinders Two by Two Postage Spellbinders Dies
Here is the die set in its entirety.  To get a single stamp die cut like I used on my creation, just cut down the middles of the large die cut to create four single frames!

Check out the following talented JustRite Designers to see what they have been up using Becca's Card Kit! Enjoy!

From Cookie Cutters to Ornaments! From our House to Yours!

Welcome to the final day of JustRite Papercraft August Release!  I hope you have enjoyed viewing all the new sets and what the designers have created with them!  It's Christmas in July today!  For my project, I started with the above house cookie cutters.  Yes, indeed!  While visiting our local hardware store to purchase spray paint, I discovered a basket of clearance cookie cutters!  It clicked right then and there, get these and create ornaments with them!

And that is exactly what I did!  Are these not the cutest ever?  Hard to believe these were only 49 cents each!  I LOVE a bargain!  The tag sentiment is perfect, no?  It can be found in JustRite's new set, Christmas Antique Tags One.

Lots of holiday goodness found in Antique Christmas Tags One! It is a JustRite Clear stamp set featuring 22 stamps!  This set coordinates with JustRite's Antique Christmas Tags One Spellbinders dies!  Gotta love that!  I stamped my tag frame borders, then added my sentiment!  There are endless possibilities when you mix and match these stamps!  I then cut them out using JustRite's Coordinating Spellbinder's Antique Tags One die.  Also utilized, is Spellbinders Little Leaf Sets Dies for the holly leaves!

Let's talk about how I altered the cookie cutters.  The first thing I did was trace the outline of the cutters onto my designer paper.  Even though the shapes are the same, I still traced each one individually, because the size varies a little on each.  After trimming out the house, I inserted it into the cutter with tiny dots of Aleene's Tacky glue on each corner to hold in place.  Next, I picked the trim I wanted, added scor tape and adhered to the cutter.  I used one of my favorite trims of all time here on the edge!  I used my Cropadile to punch a hole in the top, threaded my seam binding through the hole, knotted the end so it the knot remains in the inside of the ornament.  We now have a loop to hang the ornament with. Finishing touches include adding the tags, snowflakes, adhesive pearls and gems, bows, and holly leaves!  Hope you are enjoying your day!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Enjoy the Christmas inspiration the following JustRite Designers have for you today!  Click on name to arrive at each individual blog and ENJOY!

Fluttering Leaves of Autumn and Candy Corn Recycled Bottle Vases!

I have shared this creation on Kristen's Linky Party!  Go check it out!  Enjoy!

Welcome to Day Five of JustRite's August Release.  We are moving into fall with two new sets today!  I made this trio of vases from recycled bottles using JustRite's new Shabby Chic Autumn Leaves for embellishing the beauties!  This is in no way my idea, but an idea that was found on Pinterest!  From there I went to this LINK for all the details.  Easy, fast & fun!

Shabby Chic Autumn Leaves is a JustRite Clear set featuring 15 stamps and is designed by Amy Tedder!  The detail on these leaves is wonderful!  The second fall set in the August release, Antique Autumn Tags One is found HERE.  It is a JustRite Clear set as well.

After stamping each leaf, I trimmed them and shaded the edges. The sentiment is stamped and cut out using Spellbinders Little Leaf Sets. The tulle netting, seam binding, bakers string, and adhesive gems are found at The Stamp Simply RIBBON Store.

Thank you for stopping by today and hope you have been enjoying the August release sets! Tomorrow we will wrap up the release with a set that just might help you get into the holiday spirit in July!

It's JustRite's Samantha Walker Stamp Collection!

Good Morning!  Here we are on Day Four of JustRite's August Release!  We started this release showing you inspiration from Becca's Amazing Paper Grace Stamp Collection and today we are featuring another new line of JustRite stamps, designed by Samantha Walker! I used her stamps and dies in an out of the box sort of way for my card!

Ooh La La is a JustRite clear set featuring 24 stamps.  A really nice variety of images, sentiments and labels.  When I first looked at this set, not only did I see the obvious...I saw flower vases, fish, and a closet full of bodice wear! So much FUN!

Simple stamping and die cutting to create the vase and flowers.  I used two vases, raising the top one with foam square dimensionals.  Perfect for tucking the stems into the vase!
Samantha designed this coordinating Spellbinders Die set, French Frills to coordinate with Ooh La La!  From this set, I die cut the vases and smallest label shapes.

Here is Botanical Swirls and Accents, another wonderful coordinating Spellbinders Die Cut set.  I used the intricate largest die and the leaf die on my card today!  I am in LOVE with the detail of this set and I know you will love the creativity of Samantha Walker She is so talented and it is a privilege to use her stamp and die collection!

There you have it!  I will return Monday with a creation featuring stamps from the Amy Tedders Design Collection!  I think you will FALL in love with these stamps too! (hint in all capital letters!)

Take a look at all the terrific Samantha Walker inspiration from the following designers!  Enjoy!

Amazing Paper Grace Filigree Fancies!

WELCOME to our second day of JustRite Papercraft's August Release!  There is more Amazing Paper Grace goodness to share and I think you will really like today's inspiration!  Let's get started!

I created a "Sprinkle" invitation using Becca's Vintage Filigree Fancies stamp set.  Just what is a "Sprinkle" you ask?  A Sprinkle is like a shower but on a much lighter and smaller scale.  Our youngest daughter learned about this sprinkle idea from a coworker at her office.  Since her sister, (our oldest daughter, Lindsey) is expecting and had sold ALL her baby goods last fall, it seemed fitting to sprinkle her a bit before baby Avery's arrives.

Vintage Filigree Fancies is a JustRite Papercraft Cling set featuring 10 stamps. Notice the letter font?  It matches perfectly with the Vintage Alphabet Soup background stamped I used yesterday in THIS post!
I started with a 4" x 6" piece of card stock before die cutting the top edge using what would be considered the side of the die cut instead of the die "top".  The jingle was computer generated and printed using brown ink.  Stamp placement was easy using my clear block with grid lines.  I lined up the block markings to the paper edge to place the stamps where I wanted them to go! After assembly of layers, the addition of a seam binding bow, adhesive pearls & gems finish the invite!  All the shower details are also computer generated and are adhered to the back of card stock base.

Thank you for stopping by today!  Tomorrow we will be continuing our August Release featuring JustRite Papercraft  Samantha Walker's new stamp collection!  See you then!
