Our Daily Bread Designs & The Stamp Simply RIBBON Store!

Our Daily Bread Designs Watering Can Image, Happy Birthday Set
Good Morning! Great news to share with you today! The Stamp Simply RIBBON Store is now carrying Our Daily Bread Designs Stamps! Yes, it's true! And we are over the moon exited to share with you today what we have been creating with these gorgeous high quality rubber cling stamps! My card measures 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" in size with the grey card stock distressed around the edges. The butterfly is one of the stamps in the set, after stamping and coloring it, I cut out and applied glitter around the edges before adhering to the card. Memento Tuxedo Black ink was used for all stamping.

A Great Deal!
I keep sharing how frugal I am, not cheap, but frugal! And when I saw this great deal at the end of last summer, I knew I could incorporate these lovelies someday in a stamping project! The day has come! Can you believe it, three of these darling watering can candles for one dollar and forty cents? As you can see on the package these are outdoor candles, so one would want to bring inside when not in use.

Our Daily Bread Designs Watering Can Set
I used stamps from Our Daily Bread Designs Happy Birthday Set. My Happy Birthday sentiment is located inside the card. I'm sorry I didn't get a picture of the card inside! I used matching 5/8"grey plaid ribbon on the watering handles and added a stamped sentiment to each can front!  The beautiful stamped image is copic colored. Adhesive pearl embellishments and grey framing of the stamped panel set the design perfectly! Thanks for visiting today!  See you tomorrow!

Ribbon Inspiration, Stamp Simply Style-Spring Wishes!

Bunny Folded Dinner Napkins-front view
It's that time again for The Stamp Simply Ribbon Inspiration! This week, Sharon is thinking spring! And what hops right along into spring time? Well, of course, bunnies do!  I first saw a folded dinner napkin bunny on Pinterest which had been originally pinned from Martha Stewart's site. Frankly, I could not follow Martha's instructions very well, but read one of the comments that suggested watching a you tube video that demonstrated clearer bunny napkin directions. I googled and found one! Boy, it was so much easier!

Bunny Folded Dinner Napkins-back view
Here a darling back view!  I added 1.25"silk ribbon of course and a stamped tag! After the folding was complete, I used a rubber band to hold together but not a tight rubber band! When I make more, I will just tie the ribbon to hold the folding together.  For the tag I stamped a sentiment from Spring Words, a new JustRite clear stamp set.  I used Memento Rich Cocoa ink, cut with a Spellbinders Oval die, and also rubbed ink on the tag front before adding that ringlet trim!  Are these just the cutest?  I love this kind of crafting! To use the dinner napkin, one will just untie that beautiful silk ribbon, unfold the napkin, and place on their lap!

Oceanside!

Third 4"x4" Wall Decor Canvas
This 4" x 4" canvas is the third in a series of four I've been working on for wall decor. I used stamps from JustRite's new set, Oceanside Oval Medallion Labels for this one. I started by covering all four canvases with Webster's Pages Yacht Club Papers using ModPodge. Don't you love this little crab? Using Memento Lady Bug ink, I stamped him three times, trimmed out, applied Martha Stewart coarse glitter, and gave each an adhesive pearl. The crabs are adhered to a Swiss Dot Cuttlebug dry embossed piece of white card stock that has been distressed with Tim Holtz Old Paper Ink.

I stamped the word Oceanside with Memento Rich Cocoa ink, cut out, they ruffed up the edges before adhering to the die cut frame. The frame is cut using the coordinating Spellbinders Nested Oval Medallion dies.  Oceanside Oval Medallion Labels is a JustRite cling set featuring 12 stamps.  I also used a star stamp and trimmed to out before attaching to the string knot.

4" x 4" Canvas One, Two, and Three
A peek of the three completed canvases.  One more to go! Then the only question will be what wall to hang them on! Can't wait to see them all hanging!  Thank you for stopping by today!  I appreciate every visit and love when you do!  Hope you have a fantastic Friday!

The fabulous JustRite Designers listed below have Oceanside goodness for you today!

Jesus, the Great I AM...JustRite Easter Blessings

Easter Blessings Bible Card
Good Morning! How are you today?  I hope this week has been a good one for you so far. JustRite is featuring Easter Blessings today and I have a card to share! The card is an attempt to create an open Bible look. I need to share that fact, because I'm not certain one could tell without that helpful tidbit of information! Just sayin! In my mind I had the vision, but the entire vision didn't make it to the card! Ever have days like that? The Velvet Ribbon, White Metallic String, Memento Ink, and Adhesive Black Pearls are found at The Stamp Simply Store. Rhinestone Swirls are from Zva Creative and the little cross is a jewelry charm from Michaels.

JustRite's Easter Blessings is a Clear Stamp Set featuring 11 stamps. The stamps are designed to coordinate with JustRite's Nested Spellbinders Oval Medallions Label Dies! All card stock is PapertreyInk, all stamping uses Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and images colored with Copic Markers. The pages on the card were cut using Spellbinders Labels Seventeen Die #6. After cutting I scored and bent each side slightly to try and get a lifted page look.

Copic Colored Easter Blessing's Card Image
Copic colors used are: N0, N1, BG10, BG13, R39, YR23, 0/colorless blender. The image was stamped twice. After coloring the stem and leaves on one, I trimmed out image. On the second image I colored the flower petals only and cut out to place upon the first cut out.  Jesus tag was cut out using a SU Label Punch. The "Bible pages" were stamped with two of the word stamps with Tim Holtz Old Paper Distress Ink.

Have a terrific Tuesday, thanks so much for stopping by! Tomorrow's blog post will feature one more home decor canvas! See you then!

Spring Words Egg Holders-JustRite Style!

Easter Blessings Egg Holder
Today we are featuring JustRite's Spring Words and Classic Scallop Borders One Sets from JustRite's CHA #2 collection! I stamped the border onto PapertreyInk Vintage Cream Cardstock. After trimming border, I brought ends together, forming a circle, and used scor tape where the scallops met to hold in place. Presto! Perfect size for an egg holder! Who knew! Love the simplicity of this, fast, quick, and fun!

Three Scallop Border Egg Holders
Here are three of the five egg holders and embellished eggs I made for this round!  I plan on making more! The plastic eggs were purchased at JoAnn Fabrics.

Classic Scallop Borders One features three stamps and I used the image on the far left for my stamping. Any of the borders would do the job for creating these egg holders. The borders coordinate with Spellbinders E8-001 Edgeabilities Classic Scallop Dies.

Single Egg Holder
Here you can see the detail on the egg holder.  I dry embossed the bottom dots and edged with Tim Holtz Old Paper Distress Ink.  The top scallops are edged with Martha Stewart Glitter. I wrapped white twine string to give the impression of a nest before placing the egg in the holder!

Set of Lacey Border Egg Holders
Another close up of two of the eggs and holders!  Each egg has trim glued around the egg which allows a spot to adhere the ribbon embellishments.  Wrinkle Ribbons, adhesive pearls, trims, twine, and white metallic string are from The Stamp Simply RIBBON Store

I hope this simple, doable, and fun idea inspires you to start thinking Easter Eggs!  Wait till you see what the following designer's have been up to! Take good care and make it a wonderful Wednesday!

Happy Anniversary! 25 silver years!

Good Morning! This silver anniversary card measures 5" x 5" and will be gifted in a clear box found HERE (there are 25 boxes in a pack!) to the recipient. I started this creation by covering the chipboard numbers with Pink Paislee Vintage Vogue designer paper.  After tracing the numbers on the paper, I cut out and adhered to the each respective number with Aleene's tacky glue. Then, I lightly sanded the number edges. The green square is also from the same paper pad, Vintage Vogue. Silver mirrored card stock was a perfect choice to use, subtle, but leaving a silver anniversary impression! The silver card stock was cut using Spellbinders Lacey Circle dies and classic circles. The Prima Avon Pixie Glen rose is HERE. Love the multi colors of the flower adding more texture! It is adhered atop the silk ribbon bow, again using Aleene's tacky glue. The sentiment is found in JustRite's Always and Forever Medallions Set, HERE, punched out using my SU oval punch and embellished with an adhesive pearl.

There you have it!  A card that could easily be changed up for any anniversary year, switched to a birthday card, adding the birthday year number.  Oh yes, the possibilities are endless!  Have a great day and I'll be back tomorrow with a darling, easy idea...think eggs! That's your hint! Take care!

Ribbon Inspiration, Stamp Simply Style-Cool Blue!

Blue Hanger Label
Hello! Welcome to Saturday's Stamp Simply Ribbon Inspiration! Today's focus is BLUE! So, how about Baby Blue! Remember the TWINS card I made HERE? Today's project is part of the baby gift that will accompany the card. When our friends sort all those baby clothes, all those sizes, pink and blue, how about labeled hangers to keep the sizes and gender organized in the closet? Let's get started.

Individual Labeled Hanger
The first step was to purchase hangers. The set of ten were purchased from Michaels. I love the thin style so not much room will be taken up in the closet. Next was cutting the Spellbinders Labels Twenty One die #5. The die cuts were then stamped with JustRite's new background stamp, Harlequin Script. I inked the stamp and placed my die cut upon the inked rubber. Then, I placed a scrap piece of paper over the entire stamp, and lightly rubbed. After removing the scrap paper, I lifted the die cut, and folded in half! Ink used is Tim Holtz Blue Jeans Distress Ink.

Hanger Back View
A peek at the back of the finished hanger. The top edges of the die cut is held together with Aleene's Tacky Glue. The gorgeous bow is made with 2" Striped ribbon and is tied with Silver string, then tied onto the silver wired hanger. Nothing is glued directly on the hanger, so when the twins grow into the next size, the bow and label can be removed.  Easy!

Blue Labeled Hanger Set
The numbers and words are computer generated. The yellow patterned paper used is October Afternoon's 8"x8" paper pad, Seaside. When I linked the paper, I saw it's on sale for 6.00, marked down from $9.99.  ScorTape is what I used to adhere the stars onto my Labels Twenty One die cut.  The Background stamp really added just enough color and texture to the label!

The Blues of Summer Ribbon Package
Yes indeed, there is Mystery Blog Candy! This Stamp Simply Sampler of crisp blue and white ribbon contains a total of 25 yards of quality May Arts ribbon,1 yard of each of the ribbons shown in the photo. The winner will be drawn from comments on one of today’s participating blogs. so leaving a comment on each blog will increase your chance to win! The winner will be selected at 6pm EST on Tuesday, February 14 and will be posted on SHARON'S BLOG on Wednesday, February 15 or thereafter. Good Luck!

Valentine's WagonWheel Sandwich Cookies!

Valentine WagonWheel Cookie Sandwiches
Simple and Yummy!  Over on Pinterest, I came across this idea that was used for a western themed party.  I chose pink heart marshmallows for the center in celebration of Valentine's Day!  I placed the marshmallows onto a paper plate and microwaved until soft.  Not melted, just soft enough to squish so the Keebler Fudge Stripe cookies could stick when sandwiched!

Glassine Bagged Valentine's Day Cookie Sandwiches
For individual treat giving, I packaged a few in individual glassine bags.  Stop by tomorrow for the finished bag topper, complete for Valentine's Day giving!  How cute and easy are these? You know I love me some easy and so yummy treats!  See you tomorrow!

The Birthday Boy is Three!

Kaylub's Three Year Old Birthday Card
Our grandson, Kaylub, turned three years old this past Saturday! Here is the card that accompanied his gift from Grandma and Papa! A large card measuring 6"x6"sports a large painted chipboard letter along with a smaller inked chipboard number three! The stamps are ancient SU stamps, I do not even remember the name of the set anymore!

Kaleidoscope Kaylub at The Children's Museum
We took all the kids, big and little, to the Children's Museum to celebrate Kaylub's special day! What a fun place to be with your kids and grandchildren! I took tons of pictures! Please indulge me while I share a few! Here is Kaylub looking though the life-size mirrored shapes. I was on the opposite end and snapped this picture! How cool is this! It's like a giant kaleidoscope!

Kaylub making music!
A musician in the making!  Nothing like learning music with tools!  He thought this was very interesting and really checked it out! Honestly, we all played with this instrument too!

Emma Rae at The Children's Museum
And this little beauty is Kaylub's sister, Emma Rae!  Look at those eyes.  She is the sweetest little girl, goes with the flow and couldn't be more adorable!

Kaylub and Emma at The Rainbow of Colors
Here is the rainbow of colored balls! You could pull out the bottom at the base of the rainbow to release the balls. This activity held their attention for a bit!

Thank you for indulging and taking a peek at all the grandchildren photos!  I appreciate your every visit here, at Explore.Dream.Discover. and hope you stop by again soon!  Tomorrow I have a shaped card to share!  See you then!
