Shabby Chic Labels Four and Bath & Body Works Gift Set!

Terrific Thursday Morning to you! And I hope it is indeed, a terrific day for you! Welcome to our final day of the JustRite September Release. How have you been enjoying the sets so far? I know we have been loving them! So sit a spell, relax and enjoy! I think you will find this day just as exciting as Tuesday & Wednesday!

This is where I started: --My 59 cent Michaels gift bag (of course bought using my 25% off entire purchase coupon a while ago) --Repurposed tissue paper that was used for packaging (I only save the good sheets, and no I do not iron it! lol) --Bath and Body Work's newest Signature Fragrance, Paris Amour. When I visited the store last week, they had their buy some get some free! (so sorry I don't remember the numbers! I know I would not have bought it if not a great deal!) The lotion was on special as well, their $3.50 bottle for $2.00. (What better time to stock up especially since I had the new Paris themed stamp sets at home waiting for me!) --Just Rite's Bon Voyage set (Wednesday's feature set) for stamping tissue paper

And this is what I ended with! Stamping your tissue paper for an extra special flair is one of the simplest things to do! I love the custom look it adds, it is quick ans easy too! For my tissue I used the tower from JustRite's Bon Voyage Set!

JustRite's entire Shabby Chic Labels Four is a cling set also! Love the images here and the labels coordinate with Spellbinders Label Four Dies! Perfect in every way!

Close up to reveal detail of the bag tag! I stamped the tag image twice, once on white cardstock and once on Raspberry Fizz cardstock! I then colored the white cardstock with Copic Markers and hand cut to add dimension! The perfume bottle is also stamped onto white cardstock and colored with Copic markers!

Here is a close up of the tissue paper and the name of this gift's recipient! I used a white pen to mimic chalk, this is my hand writing too! There you have it! Three days of such inspiration from the super talented JustRite designers! We hope you have enjoyed JustRite Stampers September reveal! Thanks so much for stopping by! I am thankful for your visits! Take good care!

Memos from Paris! JustRite Greetings From Paris Set!

Welcome to day two of JustRite's September release! We know it's still August, but we are just so excited about these new sets, we wanted you to see them too! For today's project, I chose to make another gift type creation. I purchased this memo box and paper from Impress a while ago and thought it would be a great time to use it! Another collage of pics to get us started, compliments of Kellie! Thank you, Kellie!

This view is the top of the memo box. I stamped directly onto the box, the spine and back side too! The memo pin holds two stamped hand cut images from the set.

And today we reveal JustRite's Cling set, Greetings From Paris! It is that exact stamp sentiment I used on yesterday's project! These sets will interchange beautifully for your stamping convenience! Greetings From Paris contains 13 stamps and coordinates with Spellbinders Labels Four as well as JustRite's Custom Spellbinders Nested Frame Dies. I used 5 of the thirteen stamps on this memo creation!

A side glance to reveal how well the border stamp fits! this view also shows the layers of the top! And that gorgeous ribbon is from The Stamp Simply RIBBON Store! The boxes edges are lightly touches with white craft ink!

A peek of the memo box inside! I stamped directly onto the memo sheets and edged the bottom and right side of sheets to add a bit more flair! These two stamps are from yesterday's set, Bon Voyage! See how well these sets work together!

A change up look for the memo sheets! I hope you are loving these sets as much as we are! Be sure to visit the JustRite Designer's Blogs for inspiration galore! Such creative goodness! I cannot thank you enough for stopping in! I'll be back tomorrow with another new set & the perfect gifts for my two girls! I'll even give you a hint, Bath & Body Works anyone? See you soon!

Bon Voyage! From Paris with Love! Ring & Heart Tin, JustRite!

Good Tuesday Morning! I do believe you are in for a treat today! Well, actually for the next three days! JustRite Stampers has released their three new stamp sets for the month of September & JustRite Designers will be sharing what they have been creating with those stamp sets! The feature set today is Bon Voyage! Creative goodness at its best!

I took several pics of my creation to show the heart tin outside, the heart tin inside, the heart shape tin lid, and of course it all started with the ring! Kelli put together this cool collage of pics to give you a look at the project in its entirety. Thank YOU, Kelli! A quick note about how the ring is displayed in the tin, I rolled two pieces of designer paper into hollow tubes and cut to fit the tin. In between the two paper tubes allows a place for the ring to fit between, thus holding it upright.

Bon Voyage is a JustRite Cling set featuring 13 stamps. I stamped the Eiffel Tower onto my clear shrinky dink material with StazOn black ink. I allowed it to dry for several minutes before cutting around the image. I then used my embossing heat gun to shrink! I've not played with shrinky dink material in quite a while! Why? I don't know! I do know I love creating with it though, fun! You might be wondering where the tag sentiment image is hiding? That will be revealed in tomorrow's post! I can tell you after stamping I cut the tag out using my Spellbinders tag die. I then cut the tag in half. The perfect little pearls are called Nestabling! Want2Scrap is now stocking many Nestablings to coordinate with many of Spellbinders Dies! Life is good!

I stamped my ring images onto white cardstock, then firmly pressed the cardstock piece atop the ring creating an oval indentation outline. I cut along the indentation, placed a few drops of Crystal Effects onto the oval ring base and then placed the stamped oval securely in place. I let it dry for an hour while I worked on the heart tin. I applied three coats of Crystal Effects, allowing drying time between coats. After the first coat I placed silver cording inside the oval ring edge. After the last coat of Crystal Effects, I dropped in three tiny black twinkles and Shrinky Dink Eiffel Tower. I let the ring dry overnight, one things for sure, once Crystal Effects dries it's secure! The ring elements are not going anywhere! lol

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I know you will love all the Bon Voyage goodness! I'll see you tomorrow for the next reveal! Take Good Care!

JustRite Friday Challenges are BACK!

Good Friday Morning! JustRite is beginning Friday Challenges again! Challenges will occur every second and fourth Friday of the month. Hooray!
Today's Theme: I created a round card showcasing one of the adorable Santa images from Diane Arthur's Blizzard Bunch Stamp Set! I just love her images! The purple is a bit unusual for Christmas and definitely out of my comfort zone, but I like it! The "Just for You" sentiment image is a stamp from JustRite's Charming Christmas set! It is cut out using the custom Spellbinders Charm dies matching this set! The entire JustRite's Blizzard Bunch Stamps by Diane Arthur's reveals her other images in the set! Aren't they just adorable? The snowmen can be utilized well into the new year throughout the winter season! Gotta love that!

Thank you for stopping by today! I want to thank each and every one that has inquired my whereabouts the past few weeks! It's heartwarming to hear your thoughts and concerns! I had to take a break and help out caring for one of our granddaughters, which was such a blessing! Add to that, my hubby has been undergoing more tests hoping to get some answers! Today he's doing better and for that we are grateful! Quoting the "Living one day at a time" is very different than learning to live it!!! So, that's where I've been! Here, just not in the studio! You can imagine how good its felt the past couple days to get my fingers inky! LOL Take good care friends!

STAMPS: Blizzard Bunch (JustRite), Charming Christmas (JustRite)

Stamp Simply RIBBON Store LaBlanche Blog Hop

Welcome! Today we are hoppin' Stamp Simply Style featuring LaBlanche Stamps! We are so excited to share the beautiful images that LaBlanche is known for and are showcasing some of our favorites. LaBlanche stamps are silicone stamps mounted on white foam and are richly detailed. They stamp beautifully and clean up easily, we can't ask for anything more! Here is a pic of the LaBlanche Bunny Stamp from a previous post.

We have a Mystery Blog Candy Prize (first picture at top of this post) too, meaning the winner will be drawn from comments on one of today’s participating blogs (listed below). Remember leaving a comment on each blog increases your chances of winning, but only one comment per blog, please. The winner will be selected at 6 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday, August 13 and will be posted on Sharon's blog on Saturday night or Sunday.

For my creation today, I decided on using the LaBlanche Harp Stamp. I purchased my frame at a store called Big Lots! Do you have that store near you? Sometimes I have the best luck in this store and other times not so much. But on my last visit I purchased this frame, it is a Hallmark frame and was only four dollars. I think this would make a great gift for a music teacher, church choir director, or the music lover in your life! Today's stamped harp is more of a Christmas decor piece. I utilized Graphic45 Christmas Past papers to frame the harp (Martha Stewart border punch) and cut one of the sentiments from another page in the pad. Sharon has this wonderful paper and more on sale!

A closer look at that gorgeous image! After stamping with Memento Black Ink, I layed Copic colors, C0, C1, T2, & T5 in the image. A few adhesive pearls and voila', a super simple gift! The flat back flower, a resin embellishment is added with silk red ribbon and curled paper edges shavings. That' s all for me today! I'm so grateful that you stopped in, take good care and have a wonderful Wednesday!

If sales interest you — check out the SPECIALS Section of The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store— always found in the lower right corner of the store home page — many items are at reduced prices now as space needs to be made for new product soon to arrive. All items marked down will show up in the Specials Section.

Check out the Talented Stamp Simply Designer's blogs to see what LaBlanche goodness they have today!

JustRite Crafting for a Cause!

In an effort to find an early diagnostic test or screening tool for Ovarian Cancer, JustRite Crafting For a Cause will donate 20% of the sales from Be Strong & Strength and Courage in 2011 to Ovarian Cancer Research. To learn more about the symptoms of this “silent killer “ visit this site; Ovarian Cancer. Ovarian Cancer has touched one of our JustRite family, read on to learn her own personal story.
Hi! I am Amy Tedder, illustrator & graphic designer for JustRite Stampers. I'm celebrating 6 years of being ovarian cancer free and hoping you will join me in the JustRite Crafting For a Cause Fundraiser.
Ovarian cancer is one of the deadliest cancers because it goes unnoticed for years. They call it the “silent killer.” Most women can shrug off the symptoms as other things. My only symptom was that I was so tired. “But...having 3 children will do that to you!” My regular doctor found my cancer when I was 39 years old and scheduled me an appointment with the best oncologist in South Carolina. My doctor found my ovarian cancer because he took a risk and ran a test that my insurance might not have covered.
Today, we need to encourage all the women we know & love to go for their yearly check ups. If there is any kind of family cancer they need to insist on having the lab work done. Each woman has to be her own advocate. No one else will automatically do it for us. WE have to schedule the appointments, WE have to request the tests, WE have to look for ways to protect our own health and take care of ourselves. Make your appointment & make your mother, sisters and friends schedule their appointments!
“During my cancer recovery I was blessed to receive cards and notes from friends to encourage me. My hope is that you will use these stamps to encourage your loved ones that are the care givers or are fighting cancer. “ —Amy

My creation utilizes both sets that are dedicated to JustRite Crafting for a Cause! This card will be given to my dear friend who has been battling breast cancer for two years. In addition to yesterday's reveal of JustRite's Original Set, Strength and Courage, today we are revealing JustRite's very first CLEAR STAMP SET, Be Strong! YES, that is correct, A CLEAR STAMP SET!

Here is the entire set! OH my gracious! It's such a versatile set, that can be used for thinking of you, sympathy, get well cards too! I used many words and the smaller ribbon on my card today. Be Strong contains 21 stamps and coordinates with Spellbinders Oval Dies!

A closeup view of the main sentiment that uses stamps from JustRite's Strength and Courage Original Stamp Set. I stamped the ribbon with Tim Holtz Tattered Rose ink and colored with my Copic Markers, adding some glitter bling around the edges! The same ink is applied around the entire sentiment cut out.

And this is a view of JustRite's Original Stamp Set, Strength and Courage. Again, think of the possibilities that this set offers, thinking of you, get well, and sympathy to name a few. The ribbons and creations can be customized any color. Amy has developed the chart below that indicates the colors of cancers that are used to depict each separate disease.

It is our hope that this chart helps with the use of JustRite's Crafting for a Cause SETS. Unfortunately we all have someone in our families, or circle of friends affected by cancers. We are very blessed that Amy has shared her story and encourages us all to get that screening. Thank You, Amy!

Join us, won't you? JustRite is CRAFTING for a CAUSE and we invite you to come along for the cause! It's a privilege and honor to walk along side JustRite in this fight! Thank you for stopping by today, Take good care!
