Stamp Simply Striped Ribbon Inspiration

It's a Stripe Ribbon Inspiration Saturday! Look at all that goodness! This is the blog candy picture that one lucky commenter will win! All BLOG CANDY info at end of post!

For my creation today, I have wooden letters for our granddaughter, Emma. This set will be gifted to her for her First Birthday! Can't believe she is a one year old! We are blessed! I used My Minds Eye designer paper, Blush to cover the letters. They were already white when I purchased them from Michaels.

Close up of the letter E. I added various trims to each letter. The pink trim is My Minds Eye Blush trim, so it matches perfectly! Gotta love that! The pretty flower comes with the pearl center!

Close up of a Striped Ribbon embellishment! Adding some glitter to the resin flower blings it up a bit! The striped bakers string tails rest nicely atop the aqua lace! I also used the pink stripe twill with a gluber to create a flower that is adhered onto the letter A.

What a fun set we have for today! These cakes are perfect for coloring or leaving as is! I created a 4" square card. I am loving the fun trim! It is from Webster's Page Lets Celebrate trim card! Super fun! I gathered bits of 1/2" orange wrinkle ribbon to embellished the Copic colored cake! There's a bit of the white sparkle string I love so much too!

JustRite Stamp Set, CL- 02215 Musical Notes Labels Twenty features 14 Cling Stamps that coordinates with Spellbinders S5-026 Labels Twenty. I used the stamps to embellish a note pad that I purchased long ago! This is a project that I will be making for the family Christmas party this year! One down, 20 more to go! It has been quite the ride! Our computer crashed, we've purchased a Mac and the learning curve is killing me! I'm actually writing this post at the Mac store before giving them our computer once again to get the uploads correct! Please bear with me as I learn! Thank YOU!

Remember this CARD from some time ago? I adhered a clear envelope to the front of this gift bag for a complete package! That way the card is totally revealed! Gotta love that!

A close up of the beautiful bow! The sheer polka dot ribbon is gathered with a needle and thread! I left nice tails of thread to gather the ink gingham ribbons and tied the entire ribbon treatment to the bag handle!

Good Friday Morning to you! Apologies to those who where/are having issues posting comments on my blog. I've been having issues with our computer and don't know if that has any thing to do with it or not? It's maddening to say the least. We have been out of town for several days, trying to soak in the remaining warm days left in Michigan!

With all the computer issues it has prompted my hubby and I to purchase a new computer. Our plans were to get a new one anyway so we purchased our first Apple Mac yesterday! We are taking it in to have all our existing computer info transferred. I'm a bit nervous about that, but according to them it's a piece of cake! I lost some files and programs last week when my hubby was trying to restore space on our hard drive. Keep you fingers crossed! Our hope is to be up and running this weekend! They also have one to one training, which is something I desperately need! I know there will be a learning curve!

It's a VELVET Stamp Simply Ribbon Inspiration Saturday!

Today we are all about velvet ribbons! I've a darling Halloween card with 3/8" black velvet ribbon (found HERE) embellishing my stamped image. It is simply looped three times and tied with Halloween twine (found HERE)!

Here is a better look at the velvet ribbon embellishment. I added an adhesive pearl atop the twine as well.

A peek of the card inside. This cards sports designer paper Mischievous, from My Minds Eye (found HERE)! This is my first time using papers from My Minds Eye and I love the quality. The 6x6 paper pad contains 24 sheets, all are double sided! The cute moon on the card from paper comes printed that way!

My image is from JustRite's Happy Trick or Treat Set (found HERE). It is copic colored and cut using Spellbinders Label Ten Dies (found HERE). The sentiments, card inside and out are found in JustRite's Halloween Mini Sentiments Set (found HERE). There you have it!
