Autumn Soap Leaves

Yes, the leaves are soap! One leaf will do the job. It dissolves right in your wet hands. Then rinse and all clean! I've had these forever and knew this oval image from The Autumn Blessings Set would create a perfect box embellishment. I wrapped cardstock around box to cover the manufacturer information. All in all, pretty simple! A very cute hostess, thinking of you, or anytime gift! Close up reveals the Copic colored stamped image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I hand cut the oval, then layered it on a punched scallop oval. Green cardstock is SU, all other paper & ribbon is PapertreyInk. I love to take a simple gift and turn it into a special creation. That is what is exciting about JustRite products. They allow me to do just that! Check out their BLOG for the latest and greatest of JustRite creations in blogland!
Take good care! Hope you are having a fantastic week so far!

Spooktacular Crescent Rolls!

Are these adorable or what? I was browsing at the magazines in my local grocery store while waiting to check out and I spied this wonderful new (new to me) publication called Celebrate Fall by Phyllis Hoffman. There were an array of creations and some of the most wonderful photographed ideas I've seen in a long time! One of which was to form a crescent roll in the shape of an S and when baked, it looks like a ghost! Oh my, I had just received my new JustRite Witch Way to the Treats set and knew this idea would work wonderfully!
This is a totally new idea for me and I was so excited to give it a try. (It doesn't take much to keep me happy!) Some rolls turned out looking more like a mummy! But either way very fitting to use with JustRite's new LIMITED ADDITION set, Witch Way to the Treats. How cute are these? In the magazine, it showed different seeds for the eyes, but I chose to use Peppercorns because they are larger and I had some in my cupboard. I experimented placing peppercorns on before baking and applying some after the rolls came out of the oven. The rolls that I placed the peppercorns on after baking look more like a mummy to me!
Here are the three rolls I embellished. I used a sanitized decorative straight pin to hold the Witch Way to the Treats stamped decor into the rolls.
A peek at the back. To adhere, a glue dot was used on the pin top. I hope you have enjoyed all the JustRite Witch Way to the Treats ideas and creations. Remember this set is a limited edition and when its sold out, it's gone for good! This set utilizes the Round Wooden 1 3/16' stamper. I can't wait to see what you will create using this set! Please let me know so I can take see all your creations!
Take Good care, enjoy this glorious summer day with those you love!

Boo! Sweet Spooky Treats

Here they are! An easy, super fast, sweet goodie JustRite for you! I have made these little ghosts for years, they look fabulous accompanied alongside those adorable WITCH HATS. Nutter Butter cookies (one of my favorites) dipped in melted white chocolate chips, with two mini chocolate chips for eyes. Can't get much easier than that! I melt my white chocolate chips in the microwave and dip one end of cookie. The eyes are placed while white chocolate is still soft. Leave on wax paper until white chocolate sets. The plate was purchased at Michael's dollar spot and matches the napkins!
Using my new JustRite Witch Way to the Treats, I selected the darling little ghost center, along with the spooktacular outside ring border. These stamps are a limited edition, once they're gone, the set will not be offered again. Use your 1 3/16" round wooden stamper for these particular stamps. I hope you all got a chance to visit all the inspiring creations during last weeks JustRite BLOG hop! Go take a peek!
I thought I would make a presentation of individual ghosts for each place setting. I started with my Michael's dollar spot napkins. folding striped border edge up 2 1/2 inches. Next, I folded the napkin in half, with the fold on the outside. Taking my handheld punch, two pin holes were created. The stamped border piece was also punched once. The holes look like tiny black dots in the photo. I left off the ghost (top stamped layer) for you to see the punched hole. Placing the decorative straight pin through the stamped piece, I then pushed the pin through the top hole on the napkin, bringing the sharp point up back up through the bottom hole. That way the sharp point is hidden and a pocket is created.
Here are two that are completed. After my cardstock embellishment was on the napkin, I slid a small glassine bag with the ghost cookie on top. You may have noticed the glassine bag was inserted showing the bottom of the bag behind the visible ghost head. I did not want the tape liner to show on the top of the bag, so it's hidden in the bottom of the pocket.
If the treat is not going to be consumed, it has it's ready to seal, (from that sticky strip of tape I placed on top edge) glassine bag and ready to use (additional dimensional placed on back) tag for the ride home! Now, if the treat is eaten, there is a ready made treat bag, complete with tag to take home and utilize! Note: I will place a small fabric stuffed pumpkin on my table so the straight pins can be pushed into. Not that I would not let adult guests take the pins home, I just do not want children to get injured by the sharp points! Not only are these cute, and super easy, they are JustRite for creating a fun and memorable treat!
One more spooky item to show you this week! A dinner item that is quick, yummy, and not sweet at all. This is a new idea for me this year!
Thank you so much for all the well wishes sent my husband's way! He is doing much better and we so appreciate your thoughts and prayers. He is not 100% yet, but so much better! I am thankful for that and for all of you that come to visit here! Take good care!

Spooky treats to come!

I know I promised spooky treats on Friday! But my hubby went into the hospital on Thursday and I did not have the time or energy to get my photos taken, edited, posted! I guarantee though, they are wonderful and will try to get them posted on Sunday! Which leads to the fact that I was not able to attend the Stamp Simply Celebration gathering in Indiana! Talk about feeling sorry for myself! LOL, my priority is certainly here!
If you wouldn't mind, prayers are welcome. We think he will be coming home today. Hooray! Unfortunately, he suffers from Crohns disease and often has blockages to contend with. He will not like I just wrote this about him, as he very private, but I believe prayers will help and lift him. He does too, just doesn't like anyone knowing details!
So, I leave you with a picture I took last week while I was creating in my studio. This is what I looked out the window and saw! The beautiful sunset in midst of the tree tops! Beautiful, I tell ya, just beautiful! Have a great weekend with the ones you love! Take good care!

You most likely were brought to this link from pinners and blogs that have shared this post!  Thank you for stopping by and be sure to visit The Stamp Simply Store HERE for all the supplies used in the new post!
Enjoy and Take Good Care!

A witch label using the new JustRite release, Witch Way to the Treats Set,
That is attached to the sliding band onto the box, Keebler Fudge stripe cookies (turned upside down), Hershey Kisses attached with orange Wilton tube icing. Soooo easy! For the label I also utilized a border ring from JustRite's What's Cookin' Set on my round wood 1 5/8" stamper. Isn't that new Halloween set adorable? You can see my 1 3/16' round wooden stamper all set to get some ink on it! This is what the box looks like minus the band. I found this recipe box at Michaels in the dollar bin. Now it is a re-purposed treat box! A peek of the inside holding a ziplox bag of Witch Hat cookies! Top of box, with band on, I wanted to cover the barn on the box, since I was using this for a Witches treat theme. I layered cardstock for the sliding band, picking up the colors on the box.
That is filled with Witch Hat cookies! Cookie ingredients are
Side view of box showing band and dimension of top embellishment.
Another packaging option for these adorable cookie treats. I placed a single cookie in a glassine bag, folded down top several times and machine stitched. This was easier than stapling or using tape. Not only does machine stitching hold the bag top secure, it really adds to maximize the freshness of the cookies.
Three treat bags. The witch stamped and punched along with the two ring borders make an easy embellishment for the bags. You could easily add initials or names to personalize the bags if desired. And just look at all the options for treats in this Witch Way to the Treats Borders & Centers set! This set is a limited time only set, once it's gone, it will no longer be available. This is but one of the new JustRite releases and ideas using one of the new sets. Check out the spectacular creations the team has been working on. Talk about inspiration at its best! Have FUN and check out the JustRite blog for daily post updates spotted in blog land!

Heaven Sent

I purchased a gift for a friend who recently had her second baby boy! The romper and frame were the inspiration for my card and frame embellishment. I mimicked the romper material using my white Inkssentials opaque pen on gray cardstock. Random lines along my ruler edge, so no measuring! The star reaches beyond the card to create a tent topper card. A photo of card with the frame. The frame embellishment is the very same stamping and paper as used on the card star. Stitching on the card helps to reflect the fabric feel. Heaven Sent label is cut using Tags 5 die from Spellbinders. SU circle punches and Marvy Uchida yellow scallop circle punch along with brads, adhesive pearls, and button add to the card's embellishments and design elements.
A darling romper...the idea springboard for the card and tag message. I loves the star theme for a little boy and when I saw the star frame along with this outfit, I knew I would make a card to complete the set for gift giving!
Heaven Sent was stamped with my 50pt and 25pt Brayton font. You have heard me say it many times, and here I go again! The reason I love JustRite, is I can PERSONALIZE or spell anything I need to accompany my stamping creations. And the ability to combine fonts, along with JustRite sets is a huge plus too!
An example of this, is how I used this center, from the new Friendship Set on my 3 1/4" round wooden stamper for the star center. Perfect isn't it? Children are one of Life's most precious gifts, certainly Heaven Sent! Memento London Fog ink was used for all stamping. Papertreyink white and blue cardstock along with SU yellow and grey are the papers utilized.
JustRite is gearing up for their July 16 BLOG HOP! The team is busy creating some terrific ideas, Just for you! I am so excited to show you what I have been up to! Have a great weekend, friends!

Friendship IS Happiness

I needed a special thank you card for a dear friend and pulled out two new JustRite sets that are being released today! HOORAY! You do not have to preorder, all July 7 releases are ready to be ordered and shipped! This card will be hand delivered, so I pulled out the wide ribbon for the bow! Visit Sharon's ribbon store HERE! From this Friendship Set, I used the outer border shown on my 3 1/4" round wood stamper. All ink is Memento Tuxedo Black. This set offers a full array of friendship sentiments and images. For the copic colored floral image, I stamped a portion of the Thinking of You stamp (the middle stamp image shown on package) after cutting it apart. Take a peek in the photo below. Some stamps are easier than others to cut apart, so I only cut ones that I can be sure to have room for a clean cut and have the ability to place the pieces together again for stamping. This picture shows the two cut pieces placed on my OVAL 2 1/4" x # 1/16" wooded stamper. I stamped the image twice, once to the left and turning stamp around and stamping again to the right of previous stamped image! At first I thought I would stamp a border of sorts, but after two images stamped, I saw a butterfly, so I went for it!!! Even though the wings are not mirrored images, it works. I simply cut around the image to create the butterfly shape.
Here are the copics used. All paper aside from the SU green, is from Papertreyink. PTI Berry Sorbet is embossed with my Cuttlebut "Leafy Branch" older and slightly sanded. Antennas are small silver straight pins from my husbands dress shirts! Friendship and Happiness ring is cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities.
These are just two of the JustRite sets being released TODAY, July 7! Check all the other release sets and products HERE! For daily updates, take a peek on JustRites blog and right hand blog bar to locate all current JustRite creations! You will be inspired!
THANK YOU for visiting, I am working on taking pictures of my studio. The construction is complete, just have to organize the goods! I am excited for you to see! Stay tuned!
Take good care!

Slow, But Sure!

I unpacked my last box, many items are not yet in their place, but that will come. Slow, but sure! I have put away and rearranged items already in my new studio! I most likely will do that several times as I dig in and get some serious paper crafting accomplished. So, without further ado, I want to share my first creation since the move. New address cards, of course! I had purchased packages of 5.5" x 5.5" cards from Michael's dollar bin last winter to make quick holiday cards! Well, that didn't happen! I love the embossed texture the paper gives to my house template! I cut the cards down to 5.5" x 4" with the fold on the left side. To create our last name letter medallion, I used my new JustRite WOOD 1 3/16" ROUND WOODEN STAMPER SET. LOVE the bonus 60pt. font and borders. This new set will be released on July 7. Check it out July 7 in the JustRite online store! Be sure to catch all the many inspirational preview samples using the new release products the JustRite Team have been creating! This is but one of the versatile sets available, beginning July 7. To create the new address label, I utilized my 25pt. and 50pt. Times New Roman font and 1 3/8" x 3 1/2" Harmony Rectangular Stamper. StazOn black is used for all stamping. A look at two of the cards together! All other papers aside from the Michael's cards are PaperTreyink. Ribbon is also PaperTreyink. Adhesive pearls are Kaiser and can be found at Joan's Gardens. The label and colored circle are cut using my Spellbinder Nestabitities. The inside address information is computer generated.
Thank you so very much for visiting today! I appreciate your patience with me during my recent move and blog absence! I hope you did not give up on me and will come visit again! I have a lot of catching up to do! Recently JustRite added two new team members, Kathy Jones and Michele Kovack. Visit their blogs along with the entire team to see what they have been up to! What an inspirational, talented group of women they are! AND check out the spectacular JustRite stamp storage idea that Kelli Fortin has shared on the JustRite blog...pure genius, I tell ya! YOU will love it!
