BLOG CANDY #3

GinaK Retro Boutique by Rupe Shevde
Blog Candy #3! Thank you for all your color suggestions! I will post pictures of the room when complete! There is much work to accomplish yet! It looks like our computer will be shut down on Monday or Tuesday! So, this blog candy will be up for grabs until Sunday, May 31st, closing at 11pm eastern standard time. Good Luck!
Leave a comment sharing if you scrapbook! I used to, then as the years flew by I gathered quite a collection of scrapbooking memorabilia, pictures galore, and plenty of supplies. Below is a picture of what will go to the condo, to the lower level closet for now! I even have one more bin of albums. And this is after I sorted through it all and kept only half! Another moving goal, start scrapbooking and get those books completed! JustRite's Favorite Occasions is perfect for those scrapbook pages! It covers a entire year of special memories to complete an album!
Now onto The winner of BLOG CANDY #2:
Dizzy Broad said... I like red with khaki; blue also works really well. But not sure if you'd want to paint a room with those colors though - may be just the trim :-) Good luck with packing, moving and unpacking! Congratulations! Please send me your email and I will get those goodies in the mail!

Hope you've had a great week! There is more packing to do, sorting, labeling, cleaning, sorting, packing, cleaning! LOL Take good care and I thank you for stopping in!

BLOG CANDY #2 Moving Day confirmed!

THANK YOU so much for all the tips and comments about your craft areas! I read every single one and can't wait to get into my new studio and put them into practice! Our moving day is scheduled for Tuesday, June 2. It seems like such a long time coming, but a week from now I will be sleeping in our new condo! Can't wait. I have always dreamed of having my own permanent craft space and I want to make sure I utilize every inch of my new room! I know what it is like to craft from a closet, the kitchen table, and folding table in the spare bedroom!
The most reoccurring advice is to clean up after you make your creations! Something I rarely do, and find myself wasting time looking for supplies, paper and tools. My intentions are there, just doesn't happen! This is number one on my list to work on! Thank YOU!

JustRite Recipe Set and 1 3/16 round Wood Stamper

Today, I have BLOG CANDY #2 to share! The walls of my studio are a khaki color. I will not be painting, as it is fairly new and in great shape. Seems wasteful to change at this time, that goes for the entire condo. The condo was only occupied for a short while and has been vacant for some time leaving the condition like new. I want to have a complimentary color or colors though and need your advice!

Leave a comment on this post sharing what color or colors you think best compliment khaki. Deadline for BLOG CANDY#2 is Friday, May 29, 11pm eastern standard time. Good Luck!
The winner of blog candy #1 is NIKI ESTES!
Niki Estes said... Hi Barb,I've missed all your great work!! My organizing tip is probably labeling. I have a label machine and label all my boxes and tins with supplies in them. Good luck with the moving! Hope everything goes smoothly!
Congratulations NIKI! Please email me with your contact information and I will get the goodies out to you!
I want to share with you a few places I found relating to craft areas! Such great ideas, and places to create! I know there are so many out there, these are just a few that caught my eye! Take good care and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Moving Day is around the corner!

And I have been cleaning, packing, sorting, labeling, sorting, packing! Not necessarily in that order! I have not been online is ages! Hence the lack of posts, lack of viewing all your inspiring creations, and lack of being able to create! I miss all of you! My makeshift studio looks like a tornado hit, yet to be totally packed!

In celebration of moving day, (probably next Monday) I have duplicates that I want to share with all of you! This is BLOG CANDY #1. I would love to send you this package, so I do not have to pack it up! As I prepare to set up my new creative space, I need your help and ideas. I will be posting two other give ways this week as well.

Just leave a comment, sharing your favorite and most useful idea that keeps you organized! Please share, I need all the help I can get! I am beyond excited that I will have an actual studio! It's small, so I need to maximize every inch of space! Hopefully, I will be able to take pictures of the room and post soon!

It's A Gift!

Welcome! It's JustRite's Release #2 Blog Hop!! For my card, the image utilized is from the new 1 5/8 Favorite Occasions Set, complete with centers and borders. Cardstock used is from Papertreyink and SU. Buttons and ribbon are from Papertreyink while the brown adhesive pearls are Kaiser. The cardstock is cut to resemble the stamped image with added color borders for added interest. A peek on the inside reveals a sentiment border, and stamped present for a great finish! LOVE this adorable package popped up with foam tape! I want to try this present card idea on a smaller scale and use for package tags! Now, that would be cool! Copic colors used on stamped images. Images were stamped with Espresso Adirondack ink. Here is a picture of the products used, Favorite Occasions Set and 15/8" round block stamper. I trimmed the package image rubber to remove the curly image! Easy to do, I'll keep them on hand and place together on block when needed! Be sure to daily check the JustRite blog for inspiration after inspiration! It's easy, on the right hand side of the blog, click on any of the listings for the latest and greatest JustRite creations!
