Hi Barb, Yes...I scrapbook. But lately I too have been noticing that I collect much more than I actually use. I really MUST make the time to finish what I have started. I hope you get back to it after the move. I love creating a album that will last a lifetime.

I just began scrapbooking and card making a year ago. My son is turning thirty on Monday and my daughter is twenty-one. You can imagine how much catching up I have to do.
I do scrapbook, not as much as I should...I have a lot of work to do since I have 3 kids and have their baby pictures in but not other pictures since then.

I tried scrapbooking, but never really got into it. I will occasionally do a small book for a gift but that the extent of it. Congrats on your new craft room!!
I used to scrapbook a lot until I discovered stamping and cardmaking. I scrapbook every so often now, but definitely enjoy making cards more.

I've wanted to scrapbook since my son was a young child. He's now 18!! I too have lots of scrapbook materials but no completed scrapbook!

oh I try and to scrapbook, and make cards, and quilt, and....... right now we are moving things around in our home. my goal - get those pics organized and put in some kind of books for my 5 children! I have the stuff, I just need to use it!

I have made a few pages but I get very intimidate with scrapbooking... It doesnt come easy to me so I have just resorted to writing down events,& conversations on 3x5 cards that I put in a recipe box.
At one point in my life scrapbooking was the only hobby that I pursued but then my SIL introduced me to the world of stamping. That was over 10 years ago and I find that even though I love scrapbooking and continue to believe that preserving our memories is important I spend more time stamping. Raising three kids leaves little me time so stamping is what I turn to because I get an end result quicker. I have vowed to spend more time scrapbooking though. Best of luck settling in in your new home and craft room.

I scrapbooked many years ago when my daughter was young. It was nothing like today's scrapbooking though! I used paper from my baby shower, cutouts from the paper and envelopes to decorate the pages. Then, I added pictures and momentos from the hospital, etc to add details of the events I highlighted. It turned out nicely and is still in good condition today. C Burke

Yes, I scrapbook, but not enough! I keep seeing growing piles of photos which need to be scrapbooked and I get almost overwhelmed at the size of the task and then I go and make another card instead! I need more self-discipline!

I did scrapbook and completed some books, but once I started cardmaking I haven't done much. I have tons of vacation material to catch up with and I find I don't use my camera much anymore. I really should go back and clean up the boxes of photos I have. Maybe this winter when the weather turns cold I will find my scrappi' mojo again.

I do scrapbook - but not as often as I used to. The albums take so much space. I also have switched to digital scrapbooking - but unless I print out the pages, I'm the only one that ever gets to enjoy them.
I see that you use CM (or similar) albums. So do I! I have done a lot of scrapbooking but am still so far behind. I wish that life would stand still for awhile so I could catch up! hehe!

Hi Barb - I don't scrapbook. I only make cards. I don't think I could afford to do both!! And at this point, I wouldn't know where to begin!
So far I have just done mini albums, and a real basic album of my daughters school years, but am mostly a card maker :)
dI do scrapbook but right now my room is in renovation as well so it's all packed up. i can't wait to move back in and start putting a dent in my kids album

I don't scrapbook because all my treasured photos were stolen 3 years ago. All 30 years of my married life. My husband passed away and then my things were taken and I just never asked the family for copies or anything to start my scrapbooks. But now I am a Stampin' Up demonstrator as of last week, so I think I will need to do some scrapbooking. Maybe this will be good for me! Thanks for all you do and I know you will be glad when your computer is back!

I seem to do more scrapbooking for others than for myself. right now its mostly cards. good luck on the move!
I am a card maker and scrapbooker.
I also teach my son's special needs class to scrapbook. They learn motor skills, hand eye co-ordination and how to use many of the tools. Very rewarding and the kids are so proud of thier creations!

Love to scrapbook, and find myself going back to my books all the time, the memories are wonderful. I have more to do, but find that scrapping with my daughters it the most fun, don't get to do that much anymore since we all live so far apart. Since starting a blog they do check out some of my pages and leave comments, but not quite the same. Know that when you get settled in you new home that you will want to get those books completed. I only scrapbook 8 X 8. I find it lest intimidating than 12 X 12. My kids are 26 & 24 and I still haven't finished an album. Every year I say I will finish it and give it to them for Christmas. Maybe this will be the year.
